I just don't understand how anyone can say anything derogatory about your videos. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these not only from a rider standpoint but also from an editors one. Please don't let the comments from the "less informed" deter you from continuing to bless us with your experience. Thanks
Scott Leidy thanks scott, it's only a very small percentage who complain but we are a bit stunned when they complain about something that is free and no youtube ads even. we'll definitely keep posting vids for the fun of it. :-)
Excellent video. There was so much going on with the video footage and the physics lessons I had to watch it multiple times to get all the information.
otpipe hehe! ages back i decided to do vids where you actually need to pause to read stuff sometimes... if enough people complained i was going to stop doing this but everyone seems to have a good laugh if they feel like hitting pause to read the crap we put up. :-)
Wayne Vorster thanks wayne, i figure most of us dirt riders are a bit batty but it usually doesn't filter through to the vids. more silliness on the way, unfortunately... :-D
CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES Hi just a thought, could you do one on 2 stroke or 4 stroke, the good and the bad about them, but which is preferred in hardcore endure.
Okay I'm excited. After you suggested that a GS was a bit big, I've got myself a CRF250 for when I'm in Oz. TWO BIKES IS BETTER THAN ONE. AND WAY BETTER THAN NONE.
As I recall from the 70's, the club " gadget man " would often be seen pulling the old " damn fuel's not on ! " one. A time honoured gem so it would seem.
Your crash tips... uh... I mean riding tips are also completely relevant to the insane techniques I now use while riding my wheelchair; it's not to show-off, but necessary in a world that is hardly accessible (curb-hopping, wheelie-over-uneven-terrain, Adrenaline-RUSH, etc.,). For the sake of conversation, I am not in a wheelchair from "riding" my bikes, though I should be, but it would make for a much more interesting tale ;-) Awesome Video!
Clint Droste there's a thought, cross training vids for wheelchairs! seen some very impressive stunts including a huge motocross style jump from a guy coming down a huge on ramp... th-cam.com/video/lsoJJJRylbo/w-d-xo.html
I love the comment in on of the other vids by these guys "We came into this world screaming and covered in blood, so why not ride motorbikes, which increases your chances of leaving the same way" :)
ben rainchild damnit ben you'll make me blush... :-D cheers mate, apparently the slow nasal drone of an aussie accent is good for putting babies to sleep. and we figure if we don't have awesome riding skills like the top guys we'll try to make up for it by showing lots of riding instead of ads, logos, long slow intros and shots of people talking!
CaliforniaDSRiders actually you can then groan in pain and clasp your alleged bruised leg like european soccer players too. those guys deserve an academy award. :-)
CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES oh yer we have I use I needed a rest a lot would be great too come out for a play with u guy's it's crap riding in England there's allways some 1 telling u carnt ride there u criminal haha
Thanks guys. What a work of art. There is a bullshit artist in all of us but these excuses take it to another level. Fantastic production and entertainment. Enough crashes for a whole series not just one video. Will have watch again and get a pen and paper to note all this important information down.
Vietnam Biker thanks vietnam biker, we've always figured we should stick with what we know, and people often tell us we are full of shit, particularly the bovine variety. :-)
Congrats on your channel doing so good! Great series of videos and great people riding and making them :) We have learned a lot this season on the DR's, sucks we have to take 5-6 months off now :( Keep the videos coming and *T4S*
yeah but this year with the DR's we have old sets of tires in the shed, we're thinking we might try to trailer them to a few lakes around here when they're hosting ice racing. We'll just have to install studs on the old tires :) and give it a try!
I have discovered a manufacturer defect on my crf250x. There is a loose nut behind the bars every time I ride, no matter how much maintenance I perform
HAHA! My oil drain bolt fell out Saturday. A well timed stop at a corner saved me from certain disaster when the sharp eyed Tokyo Offroad noticed my bike shitting oil. Day was saved when an eagle eyed Marcos found the plug a few hundred meters down the road by following the oil. My back was saved when most of the 7km path back to the truck was downhill. Was back to riding after a bit thanks to a couple quarts of Rotella T6 in the back of the truck.
It would be awesome to ride with a bunch of dirtbikes one time! I have this perfect 1.5 hr loop around this mountain range that combines almost all types of riding. I would be down to start up a list now for an epic ride with a possible helicopter filming of the event. Maybe get Redbull involved or something! It would have to be in the winter after a 2 day rain haha. If only!
The trees are all desert type about 15 feet tall and the tall suaros are probably 20 to 30 feet tall. I couldnt imagine it being able to keep up with me though haha.I Might have better luck trying to train a hawk to follow me with a camera on him :)
Raider Razor Cross Enduro Ride absolutely! although sometimes it makes me a while to get to the summit because i'm trapped under my bike and have to find a way to crawl out to continue the ascent. :-D
CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES My personal specialty is throwing the bike to the ground and jogging away from it gracefully. Sometimes I even just walk away slowly... usually off in to the woods like I'm just checking out nature.
Freaking hilarious!!! Definitely going to have to use those mathematical equations... I once had the same sweepers find me face down countless times on the last Enduro I race. Trying to skill up but am a hard learner :)
this is an excellent idea richard and i shall use it next ride... extremely localised mega gust that no one else felt but shoved my bike brutally at the key point etc.
I'm usually the last rider when I ride with my friends. When I fall, I pick up the bike and go as fast as I can so they don't notice I fell xD Sometimes dirt on my clothes betrays me though ...
Marius K oh yes, if you get into these videos from Barry (which i highly recommend binge watching ALL of them, even if it causes you to lose your job/wife/house/or whatever else is less important than this level of entertainment..which is pretty much everything....) you will want to be ready to pause at a moments notice to read all the good shit. cheers!
I have always tested the laws of gravity ensuring the formula for its use is still in its prime. if i didnt crash that meant i wasnt going fast enough if i wasnt bleeding out of my mouth i wasnt having a good ride used to get sore neck turning around to see where every body was
I never lay my bike down, well very rarely. I'm a bigger guy so if I can't make it up a hill I grab the front break and hop off and turn the whole bike and go back down

Kleinfreak i like that... will have to do a sequel now just to squeeze that one in, hehe!
Bad graphics .lol. priceless brother
That was funny as heck. Gotta watch those ferns.
Joshua Saunders native wild flowers are even more deadly, the bike is drawn to their scent by the side of the track all the time.... :-(
Best video ever!

used to crash my dr500 on hourly basis whether i wonted or not would not go up steep hills to much wheel spin

+Bradson Vogel how tall are the trees bradson? they have those new drones that can automatically follow you and film now

+Bradson Vogel yep the drones only do 20kmh or so, so you'd need to ride a short loop or do hard technical terrain... both with minimal trees. :(
This was great.. I had a good laugh all the way threw this vid... Please make similar ones after you practice more crashing :)
Z Shark definitely, i can see a long future in crashes if we keep trying to learn new stuff. :-D

If you dount crash you are not trying hard , get up and dust yourself and keep riding...
Definitely that integral calculus formula can answer crashes and maybe that bike eating shrub is real! haha

Oh, cmooon... i failed my physics exam according to your definition for gravity :D
GonzoGev but i got that from wikipedia, and it's never wrong is it? :-)
