- This Top 10 looks at all the legendaries in the Pokemon series as we try to decide which are the WORST of a good bunch! This list will include all the legendary Pokemon and Mythical Pokemon release up until Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon however it does not include any Ultra Beasts!

I watched the gen 5 anime. It was fairly decent. I mean the main part about it was that team rocket was badass and not always trying to capture ashs pikachu and that repetitiveness in every region of the anime.
Srsly nobody liked or even saw the 5th gen anime also best wishes is awful

Also, pet peeve of mine. Legendaries and Mythicals have always been separate categories (in Japan). Mew was never Legendary, it was a Mythical even back in '96. Idk why localization teams decided to change that. It's just recently that everywhere else finally decided to start fixing it.

I don't mind Phione as much like at least it's cute, but frickin Cosmoem took forever to level up and evolve and it doesn't even become useful in the slightest. Like at least Cosmog was always smiling and cute whenever I sent it into battle, but Cosmoem shows no emotion like I couldn't resist getting pissed off at it.

The only use I can think of for Regigigas, is the fact that its the bulkiest user of certain doubles support moves like T-Wave or Wide Guard, so maybe you could run something like Thunder Wave/Return/Confuse Ray/Wide Guard and have it be useful? Even then, fighting types and fighting type moves were everywhere the last time I was into Doubles and VGC, and having such a pure wall on your team pretty much means the other pokemon on the field is fighting 2v1, as Regigigas isn't KOing anything any time soon, meaning your opponent can focus fire the other slot

Meloetta had her own special, and she appeared in the Unova anime, which nobody watched anyway
I respect your opinion but meloetta nuuuu and it has its own short special and it has stab with relic song (I think) than you can give it strong moves so that's my opinion on it I can also a little biased because it is my fav pokemon
celestial mage the only issue is that Meloetta when compared to the rest just lacks the overall firepower and it’s a bit more frail which doesn’t quite make up for its better speed
xgxwills that is true but on its own if in game not competitive you keep it a good level its most likely going to out speed and either knock out the opponent or go to its other form and knock the opponent out then
Have you never used an Eviolite Cosmoem? It's OP. You're opponent just keeps hitting you while you use Cosmic Power and it's hilarious.
You know, when you think of a god-like being, you think of a being who is omnipresent and all-knowing. It's like the very air you breathe. Arecus having a physical form, basically relinquish its status as the God of Pokemon. It may have created the universe, but that's it. Its role fulfilled, it doesn't need that power anymore.
Also Uxie, being the embodiment of knowledge, used everything it knew to stall you before it went down.
In my x version, I only had to encounter articuno once before the cave battle
patterrz i am kinda disappointed with shaymin it 4 x weakness to ice hinders it SO Much and also i just hate battling it cause it just makes it boring. my other one is arceus it's really good in battle it's just annoys me for ONE thing it's not gen 1 like brah the "the god" of Pokemon is meant to be the first right just makes sense to me. and also love ya patt and also can you do a team builder before a match of WBE and last thing promise give me a heart please #BonslyBros

Shaymin-S's 4x Ice weakness has never hindered it, it sits comfortably in Ubers and most likely always will.
Lol no. Like Patterrz said, Shaymin-S is Ubers and I've used it in Ubers plenty of times and it is pretty good. Regular Shaymin is RU because it's so much worse. Shaymin-S is more offensive, it has 120 SpA and 127 Spe and the flying type gives STAB on Serene Grace air slash. Believe me Shaymin's sky form is better.

Virizion? That's my favorite Pokémon! I used in my team ever since I caught it, and it was my strongest Pokémon during the main story
Regigigas should have gotten a slight nerf to his stats, but have slow start be its PLA iteration, where instead of starting debuffed. It starts normal, and after 5 turns get increased stars.

My list in no particular order: Phione, Type: Null, Silvally, Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Kartana, Celesteela, and Guzzlord. Because no one can agree on if they are Legendary/Mythical or not.

3rd comment: Phione exists, because Phione is the natural state of the Pokemon. Manaphy are a rare, powerful mutation of Phione, which explains three things: why Manaphy is said to appear once a millennium, why it produces Phione when paired with Ditto, and why Phione don't evolve into Manaphy.

VERY fair list lol I can agree to almost the entire list except Arceus, I would've put like Diance instead mainly due to the fact that I'm hoping in the gen 4 remakes they will include Arceus even if it's for the smallest amount of time, at least they did something with the GOD himself lol btw Gen 4 is my absolute favorite so I hope they do the remake justice!

Phione is the result that you get when you go into the daycare with the hooker (ditto) well I can't word it too well because I'm trying not to be TOO rude but you get the point XD
Arceus being on here definitely surprised me since they kinda replaced Mew... higher stats and plates versus a psychic type that can learn any move... and everyone knows Mew has considerably lower stats than Mewtwo (granted Mewtwo is one of the best)... I don't know off the top of my head palkia, dialga, or giratina abilities but if they're really "equally powerful" as the God of Pokemon like you say, or similar at least, why aren't any of them also on the list?
Also Shaymin I'd put on a list because aside from I guess being super rare and super cute, it doesn't really do that much that I can tell and could be about as special as a bulbasaur. Maybe Buzzwole or Pheromosa, except... they're better than they look. I've seen Guzzlord put on a worst list though, so who knows.
In my opinion, there are actually no bad pokemon. In fact, a lot of these pokemon's weaknesses can be exploited to give itself an advantage via items. They aren't weak, but are simply gimmicks to make the meta more diverse.
Meloetta is only here because of its way to change its forms people! It aria form lacks speed but is furthermore good.

The only thing I like about Phione over Manaphy is it's design. It's just more appealing to me. But yeah, no idea why this is even a thing
I don't hate any legends or mythicals but i never really cared about Deoxys plus in ORAS they made him catchable in game meaning that everyone is able to obtain him now he's just a legendary instead of a rare event exclusive Pokemon.

I agree with quite a few of the Pokémon on this list. Honestly, though, these Pokémon are ones that I think should also be on the list, but in the same spot as the Regis because they’re bad but not that bad. Uxie, however, can get taken out and replaced by Solgaleo. As for the others, Zygarde, (all forms) Raikou, and, this isn’t a joke, Darkrai, would all go alongside with the Regis. Raikou and Darkrai because they’re boring competitively and not that hard to counter. Yeah, they have good stats, (like most of the other Pokémon on this list) but there isn’t a lot of variety to their sets. Solgaleo is just an inferior Mega Metagross. Their types are the same and literally all of its stats are lower. Finally, Zygarde and all of its forms are inferior to Garchomp. They’re both the same type, but Garchomp just brings more competitively. If you read through this entire rant, bless your good soul. As always, D.F.T.B.A. (Don’t Forget To Be Awesome!) 10. Phione, why it’s ranked so low is because someone gave it to me when I was just starting my journey and told me it was a legendary in an egg. I loved the little tyke, even if he is not the best at... well anything.
9. Tapu Bulu Just not a fan of its design
8. Regirock, I love the other Regis designs much more, I know he’s supposed to be a pile of rocks but still... and competitively it’s awful
7. Crescelia Just kinda a legendary Pokémon everyone forgot about really, the only cool thing about it is its relation to Darkrai, an actually cool legendary.
6. The Lati duo. They just seem so pointless imo. They’re almost the same Pokémon with their only differences being for the sake of having Pokémon exclusively in Ruby/Sapphire .
5. Heatran. Think Crescelia but without the cool Darkrai relation. Also it has a gender for no explained reason... like why though?
4. Moltres. Same as your reasons, I don’t have much to add tbh.
3. Rotom Fan. I love Rotom in general and all of its forms are neat additions to its design and core elements... except this one. Giving a flying type the ability levitate, and making its exclusive move air slash while other forms get blizzard and hydro pump? It’s clearly a dead weight amongst the bunch. Oh and yes I Count Rotom as legendary because of its battle theme in gen 4
2. Regigigas. That ability man...
1. Volcanion. What the hell is with this thing? Like there is no reason for it to exist, not even the movie gave it any clear backstory. It’s cool to see a fire water type, and steam eruption is a cool idea... if it wasn’t just scald but better. But it’s design and unavailability in game just crippled my opinion of it. When I saw it revealed in the hacks, I legit thought it was fake. Now I wish it was.

Why do people always take it on Phione? I like it, just like I like Manaphy. It's very cute and unique because you obtain it by breeding with Manaphy. I took my time this summer to get a shiny one and was really happy when I got it

PokemonaMoni It becomes that when you're talking about which are objectively the worst. Something such as 'top 10 worst legendary desings' could really be a whole video in itself. You can like Pokemon design wise, but at the lowest level Pokemon are just stats and a movepool and that's how you judge which ones are the 'worst'.

i don't get it. half of this list, you are bashing on the way you can obtain these pokemons or how they are presented. how makes that the pokemon itself worse? shouldn't the title be a little different like: top 10 worst&way of being presentend legendary pokemon?
