👏🏻 🔥 Thanks for this really useful video. I need to get into Snapshots. And yes adding extra switches and expression pedals is a big win! For example I got that cheap expression pedal on Amazon I discovered via another channel. Only got hay is I had to do a quick mod to get rid of the ring connection. Nice mini pedal but does need an extra switch to turn wah on/off.
this is great, thanks! i noticed you’re using the Stomp’s loop. is there much noise due to that? if so, do you tweak send/return levels? I get a very noticeable hiss with external drive pedals (even if they aren’t engaged)
I've noticed a few issues using the send/return loop and haven't been fully sure how to fix it all unfortunately! All the grounds set properly on your cables going to and from?
@@ZachBrobstMusic thanks for getting back! Yeah all cables and power supply seem ok. Checked them on other pedals etc and no issues. The loop isn't as noisy with non-drive pedals but a shame nonetheless!
HELP! i purchased a preset for my bass that includes overdrive (FS1) and a microsynth (FS2). I want to add a specific sound from a different preset to FS3 but I don't know how. Specifically, I want to copy the Bass Octaver from the SubBass preset and transfer it to my new preset as FS3....is this possible? BTW, I already disabled the TAP/TUNER option and assigned FS3 to Stomp. Thank you for any help you can offer!!!
Hey there! I'm not sure I fully understand. You should be able to click into the Menu and then go to global settings & footswitches to assign placement!
What pickups do you have in there? You could throw a noise gate in that would help with the noise while you're not playing but once you start playing of course that noise will bleed back into your signal chain
dude this is so helpful. The HX stomp is such a killer pedal for the price

Great video man! Love the up-close shots of the HX as you’re explaining!
thank you!
The input noise gate is per preset, and is not "locking" like you can on the Kemper.
-62.0 works perfect for me on the input noise gate

How did you change the name and colour of your snapshots @0:43
I have a Tele that is too noisy, how much tresh on the gate do you recommend? I dont want to lose sustain :(

Can I save an existing Snapshot to a DIFFERENT Preset? HELP Thanks.
There may be a way through the desktop editor but I am not aware of a way to do it on the stomp itself!
Thanks ,but why don't use the software ?, more visual .
