A quick look at the 25" machined riser from Decut archery. Priced at $360 australian archeryshop.com... Archery Supplies Unit 4 41-47 O'Sullivan Beach road Lonsdale 5160 archeryshop.com...
It's an excellent riser, it's my first one which I have been shooting for over the past 7+ months and honestly I don't see the need to ever change it. Performs really well, feels great in the hand and like you say in the video it promotes correct hand positioning on the grip (which did take some getting used to having only used club bows previously and naturally feels heavier). Mine is gold which compliments the silver shibuya rest and button I have attached.
Hi austin, im in heavy consider to buy this riser, can you descript about this riser? Especially is this riser quiet silent or litle noice when u shoot? Tks for your atention 🙏👍😊
Hi Austin, I'm about to buy this riser, but they say that basha pro is just for beginners. Well I am a beginner, what I would like to know is on riser, in a distant future, Can we use a 70 lbs limbs on this or will it crack. Hope to hear from you. Thanks
Hi there. Always enjoy your videos. Can I request you do a video on ILF risers, limbs, sights, etc that are for a beginner. I have shot my various simple recurve bows for a few years and now wish to buy a more professional bow. My request is for entry level suggestions from you. Thanks for all the effort you put into these. If you have done one please point me in that direction. I did watch your sizing for the risers, I would use a 25 inch one.
This is a great value riser - about 160 UK Pounds. Easily equal to SF Forged+ and Hoyt Horizon... Mine had the fixed tiller bolts and a sleeve. Bought a £3.00 rest and a plunger - didn't read it comes with a rest, so I've got a spare! Waiting for spring so I can go shoot outdoors!!
Still waiting to go outdoors - can't do indoors as I work nights. I've lent it to a few "beginners" and all like it. Several are going to buy this, or similar, missing out the Samick Sage/Axiom stage.
Thanks for the honest review!! In your opinion, what limbs are good with this? I’m looking at buying the riser and limbs used and many of these Decut risers are sold with the daylite Ilf limbs in various lengths and lbs. Do you recommend these limbs or something different to go with that riser? (budget for 66” limbs is around $100-$150) - Thanks!!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this riser after you shoot it. I asked about this riser in the comments on one of your other vids, thanks for doing this review on it. Did you by any chance get any of the arrow rests or plunger buttons that Decut makes. I currently shoot a Spigarelli with a Spig rest and a Beiter plunger. I have my eyes on these Decut products because I'm looking for a good cheap setup for friends and family when they come out and shoot with me. I'd like them to shoot some good equipment that isn't going to break the bank if it gets damaged. I also just saw the Decut has a barebow version of this riser called the Rhino.
Could you please check if the limb bolts are properly aligned? I saw over at reddit a comment made by arcanite_eagle that says: "The only criticism I have for the Basha Pro is that the smaller parts aren’t setup well. In most risers to get the rated poundage on a set of limbs, the tiller bolts are generally set in the middle. This allows a +-10% poundage adjustment. On the Basha Pro it needs to be bolted all the way in to reach the ratings on the limbs which only allows a lower poundage adjustment (~ -20%). Also when the tiller bolts are all the way in, the locking bolts at the back stick out of the riser. It’s just something to keep in mind when tuning as you cannot adjust up so you will need to compensate getting arrows for a slightly lower poundage and adjust down or getting limbs a bracket higher than what you want to shoot and adjust down." Is this true?
What are you thinking about the Stiffness? Is W&W or a Hoyt Riser Stiffer as a Cheap Riser like the Decut or a EXE Competitor? Is the Decut made of a solid Block of Aluminium?
I would hazard a guess it is neither, two processes you mentioned require higher upfront investment, molding /forging die production is very expensive for small production run like this. Most likely this riser is completely CNC machined from a heat-treated billet. this way unit cost is higher, but the overall cost is still lower than putting money on dies. This is also why WNS forged alpha and SF forge plus share the same shape and only differed by their cut-outs.
I'm sorry but on the video you present the second riser as decut basha pro but is not! It's a decut campus... The diference is not so much but the red of decut basha pro is a deeper red like you said you like.

An HONEST review of the difference between high end and entry-level bows. Thank You.
Is there a huge difference between the Basha Pro and the basic Basha? Anything that a novice shooter would notice?
A more observant person would say it looks suspiciously like a Hoyt GMX. :)

Thanks Steve, I look forward to your shooting review and compare with the SF.

Great review. Thanks. Do you have any experience with the Decut Horizon?
Hi, excellent videos, I have a question, I'm 19 years old and I always wanted to buy an arc that I recommend archery bear brave or warrior?
hi there : that is what kind of made of alunimium 7075??? looking for the price of 7075 riser left hand??
I’m looking for a hunting recurve bow and don’t know what to look for, so could you do a video on it?
Hi Steven, do you know of any aftermarket grip that would fit this riser?
What are you thinking about the Stiffness? Is W&W or a Hoyt Riser Stiffer as a Cheap Riser like the Decut or a EXE Competitor? Is the Decut made of a solid Block of Aluminium?
what is the maximum draw weight for this riser? thanks
The limb bolts are copies from the hoyt risers and limb bolts.
I was just going to say the pro series tiller bolts from Hoyt are loose capped.
I saw on the internet that it is cnc machined, is it forged cnc machined or molded cnc machined? Thank you

Decut red looks off. The riser look fine though.
why the tiller is different, in the blue riser is plastic and the red riser is metal?
what's the max draw weight for this?
