Very nice. Going to do something similar but planning on putting a second battery between the seats and building a box around it. Maybe consider using a step bit and rubber grommets where going through the partition to protect from rubbing
I tied my inverter in under the driver's seat. There's a 150 amp to a cut off relay from my aux battery with lugs for the power cable. Not sure if that's because I have an aux battery, but the uplifter manual recommended that spot.
Please guys put a fuse in your plus cable right after the battery. In this case case you need 150 amps. If you don't and your cable gets damaged your van is toast
if you ever have an issue with those cables go to welding supply house get that multi strand wire used in welding machines I made jumping cables in 1998 and still use them 1/0 cable
First, I must say you are brilliant. I've enjoyed all your videos. Did I miss something or are you connecting your inverter to the van starting battery and not a leisure/supply battery? Isn't the inverter usually powered by a separately charged battery?
Steve Russell thank you that means alot , i only use the inverter wen the engine is running and i dont use it for long i do run the fridge wen im traveling but im getting supply by the alternator i used it for years in my previous van and never had an problem as long as my engine is running till i get to a camp site and i get there land power supply so the inverter is not for all time use ,i hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching my channel
Hello first let me tell you I'm a fan of your videos and right now I just bought my first sprinter is 2006 140 long and my idea is to transform that into an Icecream truck . I think that you mention in one of your videos that you are located in Florida . I live in Hollywood FL. it will be posible to contact you trough a telephone number or email so you can give me some tips for the truck? Thank you very much for all the info and videos that you put in here You are the master of the convertions . Lucas
really dumb going through all that and skipping the installation of the fuse, dumb things like that can cause big issues and thousands of dollars in damage
Great video...you made it simple unlike 99.9% of ppl who try to teach...im usually still lost after watching other ppl explain it
thanks for taking your time to tell me i really appreciated ,thanks for watching
Nope, his pathetic teaching can put you in the great danger. He did not installed a fuse.
that battery location is ON POINT. im over here like damn those will be some long cables and have to go through the firewall with loom and a grommet
The battery was only about six feet away from my converter

great idea and lithium batteries are great to reduce the weight , thanks for watching 👍

Thank you that alot better choice
Is that a combo of 2 batteries or 1?
Just the starting battere, so i always keep the van running

Is there anyway you can use the inverter without using the same battery that the car is running on ?
Don't you use fuse?
andy nguyen that's a great question and yes I install one later and I show how to connect one check it out thanks for your comment thanks for watching
andy nguyen and instead of a 150 amps try a 250amps is better for appliances like espresso machine
Do you still have two sprinters?

i have a video in my channel that shoes the fuse installation ,look it up ,thanks for watching
I don't care about other video, I am accusing you to put ppl in great danger of your faulty "how to.." inverter installation video.
