  • They all come in new shape for 2020. Kawasaki Z900 features traction control, riding modes, LED lights, TFT dash, the Triumph Street Triple RS comes with superstar suspension and Brembo breaking system, while the BMW is all new for this year: new engine, new chassis - a completely new bike. But which one is better?

    I own a 2017 z900, a 2007 990 superduke and my gf has an mt09.
The z always shocks me - in my experience, esp after an ecu flash, it's got a load of torque at 6k+, and is just sooo damn smooth it beggars believe.
The superduke is much more raw as you would expect engine wise, but the gears are looooooooong (frequently find myself on the highway thinking in in fifth but I'm in third). The big difference is brakes and suspension - so much better than the other two.
The mt09 just isn't to my taste, the suspension is just bad, the seating position kinda feels weird - all subjective stuff but important

A lot of reviewer's make a big about quick shifters. I have one on my BMW R1200R and it's nice, but not a big deal. What I really like is the TFT display, gives the bike a premium feel.

I enjoyed the video. Your English and vocabulary is excellent! I have a 2018 Street Triple RS and love it. I agree about the leg position. In 18' they only offered Quick shifter up which takes some time to get used to. It is like a scalpel it goes where you think. I had the Ninja 1000 abs and thought I loved it until the Triumph. I like you chose the Kawasaki because I have had many and I like Kawasaki and prefer them but I think the Triumph is more appealing. My BMW is the 2020 X3 M Comp and love it but I love their cars more than Motard! I agree about the KTM missing from the review as well as Ducati and where do you stop? LOL I have the 1190 Adventure and love it for many reasons so I would have liked to hear your opinion on KTM. Please keep up the very engaging reviews!

I wont buy any of those 3 naked bikes, but if i could own more then one bike, i would still buy an adventure bike to do long rides & to travel, and i would also buy a small dual sport 250cc to have fun in dirt roads & finally i would buy a Kawasaki Z900RS to commute & to go to work. He was right. He said that because he was in the normal rev range when testing these 3 bikes. Why would I rev the shit of the Triple while I can get more torque in relatively low rpm with Z900? Don't get me wrong I love RS with all the equipment and looks but specs wise, triple's torque is way less than Z900, it only has 58 lbft at high rpm 9350, compared to Z900 73.1 lb-ft @ 7,700 rpm. That make sense. Triple is always a better track bike compare to Z, but for more torque and acceleration, it can't beat Z...There is no need to bring Speed Triple into this war since it's more expensive, in that case, Kawa has Z-H2 to compare.

@@xcg1234 no doubt the RS makes less torque low down, but that's how it's designed, to be a supersport without fairings and with a handlebar... So one should ride it as such, keeping it in the sweet spot. And if we're keeping the Speed out of it, then look towards the Street Triple R, which has a meatier torque curve while sacrificing some top-end power, making it ideal for road use. (Yes I know there isn't a new one yet, just an example). Put the RS in the correct gear and it'll power out of any corner harder than anything else here... And if u have a lazy left foot, maybe it just isn't for you.

The comparison is that there is no comparison. The choice is a beautiful refined four cylinder reliable Japanese engine or a rattly cheap Chinese parallel twin. You pays your money you takes your choice.
