Another Newbury District Council created accident zone.

Newbury district council adds a new entrance to an existing dangerous road causing massive problems to the locals and making it impossible to leave their homes and creating a new accident hot spot.
Who was behind this decision and why ?

Couldn’t agree more with you . Definitely an accident or probably more than 1 just waiting to happen. So many cars & mainly motorcycles use this road from the roundabout as a race track exceeding the speed limits by more than double. This road that’s going in for the new housing development will make it even harder to get off of our driveways given the usual speeding traffic along this road. with additional cars pulling out of this new road as well could be fatal pretty soon. Absolutely ridiculous & something needs to be done before it’s too late

So right, there has already been 1 death on this road the day after an email I sent to Newbury police and Newbury district council warning about speeding cars and the volume of cars using the road but they just fobbed it off as they always do.

No care for the locals who already have trouble exiting and entering their properties and the council don't give any care so why do we pay taxes to these corporations and they are corporations they don't work for us they have their own agenda to make money for their extortionate pensions and pay packages instead of focusing on making our towns better places to live they make them into impossible places to live.
