Thank you for this video, it was really helpful! Although… I’ve now cleared the codes, the warning light is off, but I then drove it in a 70mph road and it still had acceleration issues. I’ve left it to “rest” before I try driving it again later, but it’s a little strange I have no warning lights at all but it’s still struggling…
Thanks. Glad you found it useful. I'm no expert but maybe check the whole air intake system and make sure there are no splits or damage to any of the pipes
@@pauliecabs I went back to the car about 30 mins ago and the warning light was back. I’ve cleaned the sensor again and left it instead of driving it, and I’ll check again in the morning. But thanks, I will try that if it’s not fixed
@@pauliecabs I did that first before seeing your video. Changing the filter changed the error code, which is why I started google-ing the MAF sensor and found your video
when the engine has a problem it puts a code up as a flag and a light on the dash, you then diagnose the problem , put it right and then -- clear all codes before driving the car and not the other way around. as you can see the engine didnt pick up on anything so it was a green light... so to speak.
Was a best seller, so ugly cars must sell good, lol. I've done 190k miles in mine, no real issues, never seen a garage. But I do have a traction control light to get to the bottom of, which is how I came across this.

@@yxmichaelxyyxmichaelxy3074 Did it start off in maybe 2011?. Mine is a 2012 diesel model. The marmite nature to its styling was there at the very beginning, but somewhere between 2012 and 2017 it became a best seller in the uk. 2011 till 2019 when that body styled Juke ended was a pretty good run. Not sure of Nissan's target market there, but I see a large amount of them driven by the female gender, which would turn off the car's appeal to young, cool, single guys . To me it was a cheap SUV and it's been really reliable, no major issues, simple in its design, and I find reasonably easy to work on. Personally I love it, and look forward to the next 100k miles in it, though I do expect to be replacing a few items along the way, lol.

Thanks. Yes, you're right. My first time using a scanner, should have tried clearing the codes then do the test drive!
Bien hecho !! Surprised uve not been maintaining ur wife's car?? That air filters not been changed for years ??
It's normally done by the dealer but I'm surprised how bad the air filter was. I don't think they changed it last time!
Nissan Juke, one of the ugliest cars in history.
lol but Mrs Pauliecabs loves her Daisy Juke!

Her preferences are her preferences. I wouldn't touch a Nissan Juke with a 2000 km hockey stick.
