Ok, so If turbo granny is in the tunnel to make company for young women that died after being sexualy assaulted this could explain why she curses men by taking their weenies!
It's also interesting cause momo met turbo granny while she was also being assaulted by the aliens and technically It was turbo granny possessing okarun that saved her in that moment by coming out of the phone and taking out two aliens...

There is a fan speculation being shared right now where the reason why granny took his pp is because he's a male, which is the same gender of the suspects who unalive those girls. But her taking his pp actually has nothing to do with his gender and the gender of the people who vayo-lated and unalive those girls. Granny can actually curse both genders. it just so happens that okarun was the one who got cursed by granny. And her talking about gobbling his pp is just part of her foul-mouthed personality, which adds a bit of humor to her character. Also there's no mention where all of the suspects who unalive those girls are all male. She also ask okarun if he wants to suckle her teats, which a person who dislike men would never ask. It's just part of her foul-mouth personality.
And another information that is being shared right now is the reason why granny entered the phone in episode 1 is because granny tried saving momo is purely a fan speculation. The truth is, it's just a scene thought by the author of thinking on how he can make momo encounter okarun in his cursed state and momo being saved from the aliens.
And the fan speculation would get immediately destroyed if people remembered that granny have been trying to unalive momo since episode 1 and almost vayo-lated her in episode 3.
Her consoling the spirit girls is just to make her image look better for obvious future plots that includes her.
@@luzviminda795Her asking her victims to suckle her teats could just as easily be an ironic, threatening enticement, as is her saying she’ll gobble their weenie. She’s old and gross and scary so her sexual aggression is scary too. It’s not like she actually expects any man to *want* it. It’s an ironic fate for people she indiscriminately views as predators, if you missed that I’m suspect of your media literacy.
Also later on in the manga once she’s not in that tunnel anymore, she’s still foul mouthed but not sexually suggestive. So I think OP probably has a better argument than yours. Turbo Granny is an evil spirit, she’s mercurial, playful, and cruel, but that’s not all she is. She’s explicitly suggested to have feelings of sympathy and protectiveness towards women who were assaulted, it’s more than likely that played into the events of episode 1 even if she still tried to kill Momo later, that’s not out of line for a strange and mercurial spirit.
Turbo Granny’s evil nature is tied to cursed energy, and once she’s separated from it you get a better understanding of her personality. I don’t really understand this insistence some people have with attempting to shoot down this particular fan theory. Something is weird about y’all.

That entire “horse race” scene is probably one of my favorite scenes in a show I’ve seen recently. Absolutely chaotic.

Just the fact that this anime make Natsuki Hanae ( Okarun ) and Wakayama Shion ( Momo ) Voice act as if they are casting in Bocchi the Rock or Lycoris Recoil ( Which unironicaly Wakayama Shion actually voice Takina in LycoReco ) Is just pure gold

That’s why Momo repeated the word with some perplexity when she only bade him “bye-bye”. Japanese use the English “bye-bye” whose interpretation is less final or just for now. Understanding that what Okarun thought was that they were returning their social groups and become strangers again, she quickly told him, “See you tomorrow.”

I am SO happy you guys decided to pick this up. We’re only 4 episodes in and it’s easily the best series currently airing.
That was so good, but every Dandadan episode zooms by so fast that at the end I'm like "Wait, it can't be over already. That felt like 5 minutes!"
The use of a William Tell Overture Remix was a stroke of genius.
Funny they remember William Tell Overture as that can-can music instead of the horse racing music 😂
the first part is william tell overture but once okarun jumped up from the giant crab, it transitioned into can-can.. cool remix for a chase scene.. hehe

Honestly, that fight really had some Jojo energy to it. So many twists and turns, plans upon plans and especially Momo's speech in the end with the confident "I win" and zoom on her eyes... Chefs kiss

The music was a remix of the William Tell Overture Finale. That whole sequence in the manga was only a little over a page long, so they really extended it for the anime, just like the Stark/Fern dance in Frieren.
