Fun fact Turbo Granny is an actual modern japanese legend, she's supposed to be driving a car at highspeeds in the Hyogo prefecture highways, she appears at night to haunt reckless drivers forcing them to crash and run them off the road, which is why in the show when she first showed up Momo told him he was supposed NOT to run away from her
Nah dude in hoody is right for sure. Aliens used psychokinesis against Turbo Granny on the ship which is what unlocked it for Momo as well when they were using it on her. Definitely meant to be a switch up on their interests. Okarun gets ghost/spirit powers and Momo gets Alien powers. The biggest thing that I feel shows it not to be a spiritual power is that Granny Seiko doesn't know how it works and is asking Momo how she does it. She might have known general ways for her to maybe train it using her own experiences as a medium, but she didn't seem to think they were real before either when Momo originally explained she had them.
The heart of the series is the wholesome friendships the team makes along the way. No JJK powerscaling brainrot - just crazy fun action and hype teamwork clutch ups
0:58 Dandadan, correct me if I’m wrong, i think is suppose to be a play on words for the nostalgic suspense sound effect most movies/tv shows uses in the past which ties well with the theme of aliens n ghosts.
I love DanDaDan, but it really isn't that deep. It's fun. It has its breathtaking, deep moments, but definitely is not deep as an overarching thing. They're momentary. I don't know who lied to y'all... It's more monster of the week style than anything.
As a manga reader I can confirm, this story always keeps you on your toes. There's no predicting what happens next lol
Now you know why Turbo Granny was stealing men's weenies, she was pissed off about all of those girls who were violated before they were killed
With all the crazy things happening in this anime/manga, Momo saying "See you tomorrow" instead of just "Goodbye" is still my favorite moment.

The soundtrack used when Okarun is serious about running is a soundtrack often used in cartoons such as Tom & Jerry.
It's classical music apparently

Nope. Not even manga readers know what it means yet
I actually heard that was just a theory until something completely different was hinted to in the manga
Yea no, it was hinted in the manga it was something
0:59 you guys should do the 1997 adaptation of Berserk. Super short series, very old school look to it, and so much better than the 2016.
This episode was so unique. ❤
