Love com and have for years. The three times I've seen him live he looked like he was at the dentist's office and would rather be home lol kinda shy dude imo.
I didnt know Tychos drummer that started with their awake tour played for Com Truise prior or he also still plays with Cruise. He is amazing check out Tycho live on KEXP too see this dude make drums look as easy as hitting play on a prerecorded drum loop lol. Shits Dope. This was awesome BTW
haha, I have that purple radioshack cable too ;) Thought I'd never see anyone else use one. I love what you guys are doing, keep up the good work. -wave well
+Wall OfNoise yeah that's Rory O'conner of Nightmoves, Tycho and Com Truise..when I found out he also drummed for com truise I lost my mind. He is beyond amazing
i wonder what he is actually doing. Seems like A LOT is pre-recorded. The drums certainly 'entertain' but what is Com Truise actually doing? I don't see him playing the keys live.
Keith Phillips Hi Keith. I don't consider Com Truise a DJ. Com Truise is a producer. But with this live performance thing, he is giving a pretty weird impression here I think. Since he created the music, I don't understand why he just presses play on Ableton and mangle some effects like Reverb and delays. I understand the nature of Electronic music, but it is for artists to break the barrier between what is happening in the Studio and what is happening 'live' on stage. When I go to a performance, I want to see the producer or artist play his own music not just press play on Ableton and sometimes just press one long note on a Juno 106.
Its called sequencing, he's played and recorded it all in advance. It enables him to play more than one synthesizer at once and have full control over what they play when they play it. Its what a lot of electronic musicians do now, the only difference is he's using hardware synthesizers instead of soft synths.
Marcusmiller funny as shit but i think unfamous13 sorta makes sense...but when i was watching i was thinkinng the exact same thing...wtf...one long not from the juno....lol....
The live drummer adds a really cool element to this type of music..
This is so underrated. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Awesome track. The addition of a real drum gets the whole song to another level.
that drummer dude is always dope AF

Love com and have for years. The three times I've seen him live he looked like he was at the dentist's office and would rather be home lol kinda shy dude imo.
Tycho drummer....best drummer. The timing this guy has is silly

ParceMihiDomine its a nixon watch called "the newton"
woooooooaaaaa vmvzingggggg
darm mucker fother
I like the Juno but I am not sure what it did. The Mopho appears to be used only as a filter.
what kind of drum kit was that? that snare drum sounds amazing!!
I think he's using trigger. I had the sensation that Com Truise put some effect in the drums sound.
Bruno Renan indeed
what album is this on!!!!
Isn't that Nitemoves on drums??
+Wall OfNoise yeah that's Rory O'conner of Nightmoves, Tycho and Com Truise..when I found out he also drummed for com truise I lost my mind. He is beyond amazing
hey dude. do u have idea where can i find this Nighmoves band? i'm just finding Bob Seger references in my researches!
Rory was Com's live drummer before he was Tycho's
what is he using in this video? all i can make out is the juno 106
People that can't play drums or those with no idea of musicianship disliked this
i love you
Really, really cool. A bit of a weird question but does anyone know what sort of watch he is wearing in this vid?
Hey , its been 10years but its a Casio!
I get keyboard is he using?
🥁 Rory O'Connor
Anyone knows the Machines names?
@LJ B the yellow one is a Dave Smith Instruments (DSI) Mopho. What's a Little Lake synth.?
How can I get this as a super hi quality FLAC???
Not from youtube 😂
Same drummer as Tycho?
yes
No way! That's what I was thinking!
@@ChrisKogos so sick
Did he make that sound on the Apc40??? Please i need to know
Yes, He did
No he didn't. The app is just for controlling the sequence probably in ableton live. It's a controller, it doesn't produce any sound
+sabotage11111 apc 40*
gretas
What synth is that yellow thing?
DSI Mopho
Drummer plays so rigid its as if they hooked him up to a midi sequenizer 😂
Wicked maaan :D
Looks like a Nixon watch to me.
Fender Stratocaster American Standard.
Drums are cool but other guy is lit too!
he plays the keyboard, but no sound from it.. lol
+UnknownEssay What is happening is that they spliced different camera angles together, and edited it in with audio track.
it's Nooka
i wonder what he is actually doing. Seems like A LOT is pre-recorded. The drums certainly 'entertain' but what is Com Truise actually doing? I don't see him playing the keys live.
do you know anything about djing?
Keith Phillips

definitely a lot is prerecorded. that's the beauty of this genre. it's truly a one man show. except when you have nightmoves on drums. 👌👍
Love Com, but i think this is probably his worst song
i love you
i love you
