I have these, they are really enjoyable, defenitely an everyday listen set, safe, polite, just sound right. They are quite comfortable although after 2 hours or so I start to feel their weight on my right ear ( it is always more sensitive ) But I usually have them in for 3-4 hours with an occasional break. They get better after about a day or two, that beryllium coating needs some warm up, I got mine for 69$ and I never had so much fu. with such an inexpensive audio device, and the build is superb! P.S Imho they are WAY better on the white tips, more open better soundstage. Ah, and I find they have better synnergy with my Macbook pro, rather than my Zen Dac v2. Would You recommend a direct upgrade in the 250-350$ price range?
That is tough, the signature isn't one that you are going to easily find even if you throw money at it. A couple brands come to mind, just not sure which models are closest, Aur Audio Neon Pro is similar in signature. And I believe there are some Penon sets with that similar bass focus but I don't have any or even point to a specific model.
@@PaulWasabii from One Paul to another, thank you. I guess I’ll just keep the que as i deeply enjoy it and find it capable enough. And will probably give the nee Xenns tea Pro a shot, even though it will be something different.
I never heard Explorer, but that is a flatter signature, the treble level is much lower. That is appealing to some, not to others. Que is closer to a more familiar tuning, slightly V shaped so bass and treble boost for engagement. I believe a lot of people like Explorer, just be sure you like what they like.
Yes, the accessories are fine. You don't need a dongle, but there might be too much bass. I would try Que without buying a dongle first, but in the long term, dongles are useful for all sets.
Asking the wrong person, didn't like Falcon Ultra. The driver and bass are really nice, the rest of Falcon Ultra was not for me. Maybe it is a volume thing, but the upper mids and treble were unforgiving.
Hey Paul, love your reviews. Mine just came in 2 days ago, and I gotta say, these sound pretty phenomenal. The warmth is good for low vol and the relaxed treble is good for high vol. Given the tuning, I wasn't expecting the stage to be so wide! Fixed everything I didn't like about the delci. But I will say I'll have to disagree with you on the metal shells. I feel like the fit, though better in size than the delci for me, is really tough because of just how heavy these are. I really wish you would add another segment to your paper just on fit and comfort, because it's almost a dealbreaker for me on this one. Regardless, keep up the great work.
That is fair but I still like the shells. Your ears must be somewhat close to mine with your Delci comment. The orig Delci wasn't a match for me, then AE fixed most of it, but Que is still better. Que hit a nice balance for me and we hear that in the stage. Usually if the balance is off, so is stage.
Damn the wood faceplate. Hahaha. How do you think these stack up vs the Z300? I already have the Z300, which I love as my warmer, chiller set. But I wonder if this or the Delci deliver something the Z300 doesn't - enough to warrant getting either of them? Thanks Paul! Between the Delci and the Que, the Que seems to be a tad bit more interesting to me due to the arc of the subbass as well as the earlier pinna peak. EDIT: EW300 now out. Early reviews seem to be that they're a similar tuning philosophy as the Delci. So gonna add that to the comparo list! All similar prices too
I would say SIVGA>Delci AE>Delci. I had the most nitpicks on Delci and when you look at the SIVGA, addressed most of them on bass, treble, stage. Delci AE did most of that too. I'd still take the SIVGA bass shelf all else being equal. I have EW300, but haven't opened it yet, but yeah, graph is right there as well. No rush, wait for the EW300 reviews to appear.
EA500LM is almost the opposite, a bright set. If you care more about details, resolution, treble, that is EA500LM. If you care more about bass, that is really hard to deal with the EA500LM brightness so SIVGA is a bassier, thicker sound.
I might have to think about these, I tend to like Beryllium drivers ( Artti R1, Kiwi Ears Cadenza, Thie Legacy 2 ). plus this video got me to get out the Z300. I have always thought the Z300 was a nice evolution of the BL03, and the bass has a bit more to it.
I brought out the Z300 also, to answer another question, but did compare. To me, the two sets are farther apart than the graph shows. The driver and the bass persistence is different too. Z300 is still tighter to me, Que sounds like there is more bass, but its how the driver presents it and the presence. I also like the upper end more on Que. Not sure I would call Que a Z300 upgrade, more of a different flavor. I couldn't figure out why the graphs are as close as they are.
Hello Paul, could you help me choose between these ims, I can get these 3 on aliexpres for 35 dollars which are = Simgot ew 200, TRIPOWIN Rhombus, TINHIFI T2 DLC or do you think there is a better iem for that price? it.
The truth is that I am surprised that the TRIPOWIN Rhombus is at that price since I had looked at it for 79 dollars but I would still like to know which of those 3 suits me best or if you could recommend another one for that price I would appreciate
Thank you for this review. Sivga Que is very similar to Oriolus Isabellae's graph, can you tell us a little more about sound signature. Is it the same? We can't compare prices. I would like to invest in Oriolus Isabellae so I'm looking for a budget set very close flavors…
A bunch of us liked Isabellae, its a top notch set, but its expensive new. Those guys can tune though. As for Que, same idea on tuning, but is the Isa driver better and more capable, sure. If you just want a warm 1DD at a reasonable price, Que or even Delci AE are flavors of the same. Its a crazy hobby though, some people are super sensitive to midbass, some to upper mids. The balance is similar but not the same and I notice more people noticing the upper mids on Que. The mids come forward and people are expecting it to be more relaxed, warmer. I like the balance, but as I see people trying the set, I can get that they might prefer something like Delci.
That is one of those level comparisons. The Que has a bit more lower, Titan a bit more upper. That directs your preferences, do you like a bit more lower or listen to bassier genres, then Que. Those two are hard, subtle shifts in tuning more so than any dramatic technical difference.
@@PaulWasabii thank you for taking the time to answer my question! Great Video. I already have the Titan S2 while I like it I do wish the bass was tighter.
And for some people, those sets have a tuning that matches their preferences enough to not really worry about picking up another set up to $200usd. No need to chase the rainbow, just enjoy what you have.
Yeah its in that ballpark but maybe too close. Never really heard QKZ x HBB so hard to know on that one. The graphs are similar but QKZ is more bass, treble tilited down. Sivga is more balanced, not as much bass, slightly more treble
@@PaulWasabii i think i have to get my hands on both sivga que and blon z300 and choose between them. Z300 has fr close to qkz x hbb. And you said some nice things about it. So it got me interested. If you don't mind how z300 and que compare?
Excellent review. I for one really appreciate you explaining the intricacies of the graph in plain English.
Thanks, graphs are good but usually need to be accompanied by some words beyond bass is good.
Great video! One question, Im just entering audiophile world, between this set and the kiwi ears orchestra lite? Whats your opoinion?
Glad to have found this review. I'll be adding this to my iem collection in the next few days. 😊
Good luck. Someone else bought them and posted impression in the comments so do check that out also
Great review. Looks like another IEM to put on the wish list!

yep, not as many members as I would like, but its a nice change from some recent sets
Nice review Paul.Which warm iems have all beryllium drivers? My SSR still impresses me with it's technicalities but it lacks some bass..
There are very few pure beryllium sets available. Dunu Luna. Most are coated which is much cheaper

Definitely my type of set. I love relaxed uppermids midbassy sets. Enough of sharp simgots
Right, this is more like the anti-SIMGOT style.
Would the Sivga have a sound fairly similar to the Wan'er, the FR curves look quite close?
Similar-ish but the balance is still more bassy on SIVGA. Generally you are looking at different flavors than radically different sound or quality.
