      Well, Ibarra has been around since 1925. It is 100% Mexican and made in the traditional way with cacao and that is its main ingredient. Abuelita belongs to Nestle and the main ingredient is sugar.

    I have Abuelita in front of me. Ingredients say that they replaced the cocoa butter and used cheaper vegetable oil. I guess Nestle's Abuelita is closer to vege-late and not chocolate since it's cheap vegetable oil and not the pricer cocoa butter they use. Nestle Corp knows how to handle the average consumer $$$

  • @PocahantasBam
    @PocahantasBam 9 ปีที่แล้ว +35

    I've seen Ibarra but I've never bought it just because... well Abuelita.

    • @cholodesanfe87
      @cholodesanfe87 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Your wash with capitalism , you support a white brand from Swiss then Mexican brand , let me not that Ibarra is healthy organic while abuelita like most white food is with harmful chemicals

    • @PocahantasBam
      @PocahantasBam 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Adiel Hernandez Thank you for the information, I didn't realize Abuelita was owned by Nestle, I know how corrupt they are, I'll I have to get different hot cocoa now. Just try informing people in a more kind manner, I'm sure people will listen if you're kind. You weren't necessarily unkind but I know that most of the people on the internet wouldn't have replied so nicely to your judgemental comment. Try using phrases like "Did you know that this company is actually owned by corrupt people? and that there are better alternatives you can try out?" I don't know, just something a little more informative and persuasive instead of condemning. Anyway have a good day, friend.

    Those who haven’t heard of Ibarra are just Gen Z Mexican-Americans or younger who don’t know any better who don’t know what a molinillo is and never had an authentic Mexican hot chocolate made by a real Mexican Abuelita. My grandma from Michoacán always made me and my siblings Ibarra hot chocolate on chilly days when we visited Mexico. Ibarra been around since 1925 while that other brand is just a poor imitation from a foreign conglomerate who used Sara Garcia’s likeness and popularity to sell an inferior product!
