First and foremost women, like men, are human beings. Their deaths and the circumstances surrounding their deaths needs to be treated equally under German Law. When you start defining the killing of a woman with special connotations, that you would not use if the victim had been a man, then you risk introducing mitigations that will dilute the nature of the crime. At the same time society does need to recognize the circumstances for women can be dramatically different than for men. The lack of victim support from the government is shameful no matter what country is being legally scrutinized. All men need to stand up for these victims. All men have grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and daughters who look to them for real support in a world that is often brutally unforgiving, through no fault of their own.
Specifically stating it’s femcide isn’t an attack of men. It’s highlighting a certain type of crime, domestic violence DOES impact women more. It’s worse for the same reason beating a child is worse than beating an adult. Men are stronger and more aggressive, it’s scientifically accepted men are more aggressive this isn’t an opinion. Pretending there’s no gender correlation to these murders is just an attempt To silence victims and to ignore a problem in society. It’s the same reason the murder of a gay man or a black man is treated differently because it’s a specifically targeted crime to a group that’s historically been mistreated. To ignore this history and context because you’ve decided it’s “not fair” to men is outrageous. The vast majority of male murder victims has male murderers, this isn’t women oppressing men.
Quite bad situation despite so much economic development. Women need to be financially independent. The judiciary, media and police should have equal representation of women.

Lets say an young 25 year old Turkish woman wants to leave her abusive partner - how many average Germans will offer help or jobs so she can sustain herself financially ?

This is not femicide, femicide is killing of the woman on account of her gender. Killing by husband/partner I dont think is specific to the gender but the fact that you are living with a violent man.
Except, that is the modern acception of the term. Language evolves, and thank goodness a simple term, widely unerstood, is now commonly used and is helping to highlight the problem.
It is not as simple as that, it takes time to know a person, abusive partners (men and women) can pressure the other to stay in a violent relationship, etc. And you should not get killed for an unfortunate partner choice anyway!
Indeed, judges ARE influenced by the public view that sees female victims not as “murder” victims
