I used a modern curtain track with pleated linen curtains on my slider. I like that it can go one way or split in the middle. I didn’t want to have to keep it I’m on either side.
You are a very charming person :). My tip for good price of window coverings would be Dako, they are from Poland so they are pretty cheap compared to some of the other brands.
I learned some of these lessons the hard way! Cant say enough goods this about select blinds. I’ve used them for several rooms in my house. This was a great video and I’ll be using these tips in my next home.

It looks like you pair curtains and shades together in certain spaces. I have living room windows that are west facing and get a lot sun. I'm thinking light filtering cellular shades and blackout curtains for those hot summer days (SF Bay Area). What do you think is a good pairing?

We built our house 16 years ago and I’m still paralyzed on picking out window treatments. What do you suggest that will be timeless because the Lord knows I won’t replace them for another 16 or more years!
