If the split happened before the conjunction, and the conjunction happened 1,500 years before Geralts story. How s Francesca around then? i thought elves in the witcher only live a few hundred years?
That sounds like a nice topic for a separate video to be honest :) The video that is coming next has a touch of an answer to your question. So stay tuned :)
0:29 That's a quote from where? 1:54 As i have said in your previous video, the Aen Elle and the Aen Seidhe split before the Aen Seidhes came to TW world. It's literally mentionned in the books. 4:04 Nothing said that Simlas was the ruler of all the Aen Seidhes, they were divided in severals kingdoms, not a single empire. Also, considering how long the elves lives and when the Elves have come into the Continent, there is NO way that Simlas and Francesca were part of that "older generation that sought peace". Nor is it said that Auberon was the first Alder King. 5:54 Again, nothing say that the humans were actually the first inhabitants of the Aen Elle world, though it's possible but it's also possible that all the humans, alive and dead, were transported in the Aen Elle world by the Conjunction of Spheres or by the Aen Elle themselves. In fact, if humans originally lived in that workd, why would the Aen Elle seek humans slaves from other worlds? And humans faced the Aen Seidhe on the Continent were thoses stilll posessed number and power yet they still lost to sheer number. I don't think the Aen Elle would have fared better. 7:10 Uh no, time in the Aen Elle world pass slower, not faster than in other worlds. 8:25 "Humans civilisation developping so peacefully and calmly" Really? Have you ever met humans? 10:32 You're talking about Geas Garadh and it's not a spell to keep the Unicorns out but to keep Ciri in. The Unicorns know how to bypass the Barrier and the Aen Elle know they know. 11:20 Ooook and where did you find that bit of lore about the Aen Elle being responsible for the Conjunction? Because it's not mentioned nowhere, ever. 15:03 It's doubtful that Avalla'ch was at the origin of Hen Ichaer, he was himself one of the elves genetically modified and bred to be the bearer of that gene. And there is mentions in the books of ancestors before him and Lara. 17:56 Not such a incredible achievement if Avalla'ch already posessed that power and he was not the only one. 19:33 Humanity history of slavery literally contradict you. 20:58 She faced the White Frost on the Aen Undod homeworld at the time of the Migration, that much is stated in Gwent lore, she didn't just decided to leave the Aen Elle world to go on a trip against the White Frost. 22:26 She likely just died of old age, time flow slowly in Aen Elle world but it flow and elves aren't immortals. Seriously, i would very much like to know where you found the sources of your informations because there is many things that i haven't seen anywhere in books nor in games.
I'm trying to give dude benefit of the doubt, but the more information he gets wrong and seems to make up, the more I think he's pulling a Amazon LotRs or GoTs season 8 or pulling a Sony "Dark Tower" movie and just re-writing the "story/lore" as he sees fit with no reflection on constructive criticism or outright correction you and I have given ie HE'S STILL CALLING IT FRICKIN NEVERLAND! I could forgive mistakes but to be questioned on sources and him responding ladt video to you by implying hostility in your line of questioning and then answering your perfectly reasonable questions with a question, totally deflecting and minimizing your points proves dude's either a moppet or an outright troll. Maybe he actually believes he's right, but just on the surface he might be reading the erong books, or judging by his accent the localization of said books is just jacked up. Also dude ASKED for constructive criticism and advice in the last video and took none of it from you or I which shows an intentional willingness to overlook fallacies and refusal to take the criticism or corrections HE ASKED FOR! I'm unsubbing. This revisionist history is GARBAGE. Keep correcting this guy. He's definitely tarnishing the Witcher world with his blatant misinformation and outright fabrications of the lore and history. Frickin NEVERLAND...SMH.
All the information we take is taken from the Gwent + Sapkowski's books + in-game books in the Witcher CDPR game trilogy + tabletop Witcher RPG by CDPR... And we also check the Witcher wiki in several languages, because one wikis may have information that other wikis do not. As for Neverland, there is a post on the channel, where it is carefully described where this name was taken from. The audio for the first three parts was recorded before the post above was made. In general, we tried to put all this stuff together. Thank you for watching and for writing your opinions in such detail.
@@OldWitcher Well, i would have to check the tabletop because i also find my sources in books, games, games books and wiki and there is severals of your informations that i never found anywhere like the Aen Elle being responsible for the Conjunction. Which of your videos, History of the World part 1? Trying to fill the holes is not always a good thing, Sapkowski deliberatly live many of them in his lore to leave some mysteries. I thank you for your polite response, i don't mean to offend you but i am a big fan of witcher lore and some of your informations surprised me.
@@armandowillem Let's not be too harsh, it's not easy to be contradicted on things you think you know. I think i've been harsh at some moments myself and even if i consider myself quite knowlegeable on Witcher lore, it would be arrogant to assume i know everything.
@@efaristi9737 It is not harsh when the correction or criticism is constructive and requested. I asked one question. You asked several. The original poster did reply to you (both times/videos) with condescension and accusations of hostility. He then deflected by asking you a question. No links, no references, no researchable source data. He then replied to both our questions via your thread in the second video with excuses and a vague explanation of his supposed sources. Again no links, no page numbers, no book names, no in game description for any of the supposed "facts" he claims. It took my 5 minutes to Google "What is the world the Witcher takes place in called." Answer: The Globe or The Continent as it's known to the inhabitants. It took me 10 to 15 minutes to cross reference that with passages from the books online. I guess some people's teachers didn't make them show their reference source lists when doing a report in school, but as I said different locales, different circumstances. Still hard to give credence and benefit of the doubt when you are actively intentionally spreading misinformation after being kindly informed of your mistakes or just making stuff up which is plain dishonest.
Yes, me and another guy who commented last video asked legit questions about his sources and gave corrections, which HE ASKED THE AUDIENCE FOR. All I asked was, "Where in the books or games is the Witcher world called Neverland, I thought it was the Globe or the Continent?" He didn't respond to me and the other guy he claimed hostility in the totally legit questions and deflected by asking another in return. He's willfully rejecting constructive criticism and corrections from people who legit know the lore. He's pulling a Disney Star Wars or a Sony Dark Tower or an Amazon LotRs. He's just BSing his way through and making up stuff that "sounds good" to him. Information that's flat out wrong when you look at the source material. Fan fiction peppered with incorrect information and made up suppositions slightly based on the original material. He's a fiction writer alright, but no fan would disrespect the source material like this. Frickin NEVERLAND...SMH.
Not everything, there is correct informations but all of it seems to be build up to make some kind of mythos or story. There is some things that i haven't found anywhere, be it in books or games. You can look up my comment if you're curious.
These are more like a history lecture than a game/ book story and I'm here for it
