@@paula_findlay I’ve been on the highway in a snowstorm. Couldn’t see 10meters in front of me and couldn’t use headlights as it reflected off the snow and blinded me. Have to admit it was terrifying in the true sense of the word. Stay safe.

im so happy you're back! and hopefully getting the house in Bend and going over to Tucson for better weather; im in Guatemala and currently doing a lot of indoor turbo / outdoors / lots of mobility and activation and diet sounds like fun huh.... take it easy and good luck can't wait for the next show.

I can relate to driving through a blizzard in Nebraska at 30mph in white knuckle conditions. It's unnerving to say the least. I'm glad you arrived safely.
I did all my training on rollers for years , and have had worse falls off my rollers , than on the road . Doing Rouvy or Swift on rollers a real challenge , especially with hills .( so upgraded to Kickr bike). You make it look so easy and casual. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 .Your dirty dog comment spot on. Great vid as usual.

Enjoyed your video and love Oregon and nice to see familiar scenery. I would suggest wearing bright clothes while riding rather than black or dark colours at all times but especially in the winter when drivers don’t expect to see cyclist on the road. Stay safe and most importantly enjoy and have fun. Cheers until next time.

Awesome footage on the bikes the last minute of the vid - great shots and editing - well done Eric. Speaking of bikes, training on the road and off (gravel & mountain bikes) will increae your power, aerobic capacity and handling skills. So I count 4 bikes for Eric (TT/Road/gravel/mountain) for Eric and 3 for Paula (TT/road/gravel). Hmm, could be a tight fit down to Bend/Tucson.

Another great video. To start the year. Not sure I would rather have the snow as opposed to the wet, and mud. You can ride in the wet, not pleasant but you can. Whereas the snow often means trainer rides. Not my favorite. It's very cold and wintery here in the UK now. But we don't get snow like when I was a boy. Must be global warming I guess? Many days of beanie hats, gloves, winter riding thermal clothing to come for at least another month or two. Happy house hunting, that is never a joy, no matter where you are moving from, or to. See you next week! Stay safe coronavirus is raging here in the UK, we are mostly in almost a full lockdown. Everywhere to try and keep people safe.

Have you considered Ashland instead of Bend? Very varied training opportunities right out your door. The issue is the pool situation isn't good until the City gets the new year round retractable roof, competition pool built. I don't know where that stands given the C19 situation. Yeah, we’re definitely concerned about pools and one of our favorite things with bend is that we have a ton of pro friends there already. The training crew would be killer
@eric - I’ve got to ask - are you using the Mavic Air 2 in follow mode for those final shots? They look immense - I just can’t work out how you film yourself riding like that with the controller and phone combo...!

Hey Eric, really like the gloss/carbon finish on the Argon 18, any chance Argon 18 will be offering the Nitrogen in that sort of colorway? Not really in the market for a new road bike (ride the same Gallium pro disc you had been riding) but looking at the blue/red Dark Matter for the spring.

These ones have 3 preset levels of resistance. That was #2, I was in the 53-12

That is a true pain in the ass! In addition to rest you can Google excerises of piriformis discomfort.
