I think Paula didn’t see this, but she’s been walking around in them every day and wearing them for gym, plus easy runs. Given her injury history, she sticks with what she knows works for significant workouts and longer runs. Shoes are so individual, and we’re not running in so many different shoes that we feel comfortable doing a full-on review, but they seem very well made and well-thought out, like everything from Lulu 👍

The weather’s finally broke here out east this week. I totally get the cold weather onset procrastination, it’s been my style for a couple months. IMLP beckons so thankfully the weather relented.
I commented on someone else asking about this, but it’s my fault, I left her little commentary out of the edit as I was trying to finish. She likes them and has zero complaints, but given her injury history, she’s been wearing them around town, for gym work, and just some short easy runs. Based on that, they’re great and worth trying out, from a quality perspective.
So Paula, what are your thoughts on the shoe? I’m also a runner who’s prone to injury. Are they a shoe to try? Are they good for races or full long distance training. Let’s the gals know!
Ahhh we are not good at it. I’ve suffered a heat stroke and just don’t do well in humidity. There are protocols you can do that involve getting in a hot tub or a sauna for 30 minutes after a run, but it works better for some people than others

Honestly, this is my bad. I got so in the zone with editing, I left out the bit where she said right before the run how she likes them. They’re very well made, no complaints and she’s been walking around in them all the time, and wearing them on easy runs. But given injury history, she’s sticking with the model she knows keeps her ankle safe for key sessions. They’re definitely worth trying out if you’re in the market for training shoes, but they’re not a speed workout or race shoe. Hope that helps 👍
No! I am impressed by them. I won’t wear them exclusively as they only make one shoe but I found them great for easy / aerobic runs. I’ll add them to my rotation but continue to use Saucony / Asics as well, especially for tempo and race pace.
I was curious as to your take on them. Also interesting that they only sent you one pair, as I think they have a few models. I haven't really looked at them closely but I thought I remembered the launch being for a small collection...
