I love when I hear what shoes would run retail when either 1. They were way cheaper when they weren't in trend like the sambas, or 2. Thrifting them is also way cheaper like the AF1

Running shoes typically last 300-400 miles if you are using them as intended. If you are fat, you should be moving more and you should be wearing your shoes out faster than every two years.

I just copped a pair of refurb ( looked brand new) at the Gloucester Outlets this past weekend for $60 bucks, and I really like them. They’re not as cushy as my New Balance Fresh Foam More V4’s, but they’re close.
$70 for a pair of old skools is insane. It’s wasn’t that long ago that they were like $55, and it’s a classic look but with the new durability their def still a ~$50 pair of shoes. Can’t even skate in them for longer than a week lmao
70 bucks for me is already the maximum I'm willing to pay for everyday shoes. The fact people spend over 100 on shoes is beyond any logic I can understand. There is a vast amount of great and cool shoes under 70 bucks. People get their priorities all messed up
