Quite right too! They have committed perjury by presenting false evidence, that is a serious criminal offence. I'm starting to wonder if money was stolen by the top brass at the Post Office and that there has been one massive big cover up, rather than just computer error, they were hell bent on defending Horizon. Why have there been no prosecutions of the Post Office and its management?????

I was in tears watching every single episode. The most outrageous thing is that this is NOT a work of fiction, but literally documented fact. And, another fact, that our imbecilic government is dragging their feet in rectifying the fallout, makes it 1000% worse!

I hope certain high ranking executives and officials at the Post Office who knew what was going internally over the last 20 years are now losing sleep and looking over their shoulders waiting for that knock on the door if as it should, criminal proceedings should be instigated for perverting the course of justice. How they were able to act as judge and jury in this day and age and carry out their own investigations is disgraceful and scandalous. But what is even more shameful is that compensation is still to be paid out to those former employees and won’t ever be paid to those employees who have now passed. Lives and families wrecked because of the lies, dishonesty and a refusal to accept that the fault lay firmly with the very firm who installed the accounting software. Watched an interview this morning with the real Mr Bates. Such a man of integrity and strength to stand up to this mighty organisation and wouldn’t back down. And a man of morals and principals not to accept an OBE putting the feelings of the other group members before his own.

Crozier was CEO of Royal Mail at a crucial period in the Post Office scandal when the Post Office was still part of Royal Mail, in which hundreds of sub-postmasters were falsely accused of, and prosecuted for, theft or false accounting. Prosecutions were conducted based on revenue shortfalls identified by the Post Office's Horizon computer system. These were erroneous and the result of bugs and errors in the system.[15] Post Office officials knew about the bugs as early as 2002, but chose to continue with the prosecutions regardless.[16]

Toby Jones is for me one of the greatest English actors of all time. Only comparable to megatherions of the past. When i was a kid in Greece, we only had 2 state tv channels and a black and white TV. We would never see a fresh movie and the tv series shows were at least 5 years old. But both frequencies were filled with older stuff from England. A lot of black and white masterpieces and a lot of 60s and 70s. I have seen every major English actor, even in less known movies. So i am not being sacrilegious. Mister Jones has the same mesmerizing effect James Mason had on me and my mom.

It's challenging to create perfect software. I chose to become an engineer because software can alleviate the burden of stressful paperwork. Currently, I am developing medical AI, and I hope that my AI can improve people's health. However, I worry that my mistakes may pose a risk to somebody's life. I advocate for more funding to ensure thorough checks on AI and software, allowing sufficient time for development.

The biggest astonishment for me is, do we always need some kind of TV drama in order to undo the injustices???
Look at the pace, since the ITV aired this drama, parliament has started discussing it with full passion for the very first time, making law (overnight) to over turn the convictions. The So called top executive is returning her CBE within 24 hours? …everything is now happening quick, quick & quick because it was dramatised.
For 24 years no drama was aired, lives of the victims were constantly ridiculed, highly paid executive was being nominated for CBE, (she was happily bowing infront of her majesty to accept honour for so called great services while this ordeal was going on for ages),,,in short, days and nights both were beautiful for the entire top lot with millions of salaries….. Until someone made and aired this drama….
Does the system knows how to work ONLY when some dramatisation is aired???? Ridiculous!!
System should work with same pace for every injustice, because it is not possible to dramatise each injustice.

I am very saddened by the loss of people's lives - literally, caused by this fiasco, and the attempts to deny the issue existed, AND to go on lying about it even after the facts wre proved. Unbelievable, especially in a country that holds itself up as a bastion of looking after the less fortunate and underpriveledged. It certainly makes me think twice about anything the UK Government says.
And, what troubles me is that surely FUJITSU's Horizon software isn't exclusive to the PO. Othe customers must be using it. Are there any issues with that? Or was the PO's version customized in some way - either by Fujitsu or by the PO's software team. Eather way, due diligence was not followed!!
