Me too. SDR radios are fun also but it’s nice having all the controls right there with no menus. Just knobs and buttons.

@@propagating-radio It sure is. I worked real hard to set my new K3 up as close to the Omni VI as I could! Only reason I got the K3 was to have a second identical receiver for doing duplex on 160 meter contests. Otherwise I probably would still have the Omni VI. Don’t think the K3 is any better, in fact after quite a few years with the K3 I think the OMNI VI may be slightly better! Not completely sure. Don’t let it go!

I’ve heard good things about the K3. Having a second receiver is so helpful sometimes. I hope to keep my OMNI VI for many years to come.

I have 4 Ten Tec Omni 6+ rigs with the Inrad roofing filter. For chasing weak CW DX or casual contesting, the only kind i do, the O6 is amazing. The Corsair 1 or 2 are not far behind but the O6 is amazing and then some.

Turned my Omni 6 on after a few months of not being used...appears to be stuck in TX mode!! Maybe a switching transistor or relay.. Any ideas??
