    Can you please help me. I want to know how I can create a drawing using Horizon link software

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Horizonlink works with existing designs. To create a drawing you would either need the AcuSketch app for the iPAD or Artistic Digitizer for your computer. Hope this helps.

    You have the best tutorials for the S9!!! Thank you! Can you ever download the Jef files onto just the USB stick and put that into the machine like on Brother and Baby Lock machines?

    • @annmaas5099
      @annmaas5099 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can simply copy and paste the files to a stick. The advantage of using the file manager is that you see a thumbnail of the design and you don't end up putting other files on the stick that the machine doesn't read.

    Please can you explain how to transfer designs from a macbook air to a janome 550e I’ve tried so many times to transfer unsuccessfully nothing appears i
    N the computer of on the 550e

      Ani, Since the Macbook Air doesn't have a USB port, you will need an adapter similar to www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09C1DFYXT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Then just copy and paste the .jef file to a flash drive. Then your machine will read it. Save it to the EMB folder to make it easier to find. Hope this helps.

      Sorry, that is the wrong link. You need an adapter for usb-4 to usb.

      @@anizamba Are the designs you are pasting to the flash drive in .jef format and unzipped?
      Are you selecting the USB tab on the machine? If you paste them to the EMB folder, they should show up when you select the flash drive. If they are not in the EMB folder, you will select the "up" arrow to get out of the EMB folder. Please call if you need more help. 814-725-3335

    How do i get A emb folder in the Janome mc 9850 machine i have try everything ,Thank You if u can help me

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Barbara, When you insert the USB into your machine, it is automatically created. Then you can put it in your computer and past the .jef files into the Embf (also created) inside the EMB folder or you can create a new folder. Just place the files inside a subfolder inside the EMB folder. Your machine will also create an Ord folder, which is where your stitch files will be saved.

    Can I put the horizon link suite on my iPad or do I have to use a PC?

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Horizonlink Suite is a PC program. The AcuEdit app works on the ipad and does most of the same functions.

    I have Janome 1000, how I can install customizer plus software for Janome 10000 to transfer computer design

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Customizer Plus software is no longer available. I keep an installation CD to install for my customers. Maybe check with your dealer to see if they can help. You can always copy/paste without the software. Just be sure to paste the .jef file into one of the folders that your machine creates.

      Thanks for reply What do I have copy paste? And from where? After copy paste or software can I directly transfer design from computer? How much it will cost me to get it from you?

    I just bought Janome please do I need any software before importing project from pc to the machine?

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Which model did you purchase? Most embroidery machines come with the software. If you did not receive Horizonlink Suite (15000), Horizonlink (12000), Acutools (S9) or Embroidery Editor (500/550) you can copy/paste unzipped .jef files that fit your machine. Your machine will default to opening the EMB folder, so I suggest placing the files in a subfolder inside the EMB folder. Hope this helps.

    I have the 550E and there is NO connection setting in my dropdown. My usb port has quit working and need to transfer from pc to machine asap

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The connection setting is only on the 15000 and S9.
      Which USB doesn't work? The computer or machine? If it is the machine, please see your dealer.

    I have tried to download Acutools and it is just downloading an update and then there is nothing there when you open it. Is there something else or somewhere else I need to go? I have the cable from my machine to my laptop and I am wanting to transfer a design from the laptop to the machine. Can you help?

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peggy, When you said you tried to download Acutools, do you mean you are trying to install it? It is installed from the installation CD. Please confirm that the Acutools program is installed. Then I'll review the steps.

    What do I use for janome mb4se ... some one is making me a design.. how should they send it to me?

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The MB4 will read both .jef and .dst formats. Just make sure to put them in a subfolder inside the EMB folder for the machine to read them.

    Please help I was given a Janome 300e can I download the software and can I add my own images it’s an older machine

    • @SuperStitchSewing
      @SuperStitchSewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Veronica, You will need digitizing software to create your own designs. Check out Anne Hein's videos on Janome's Facebook page for Artistic Digitizer. For the 300E, you need to place .jef files no larger than 5.5x7.9 in the Embf5 folder on your card.

    there is my file that is not readable on the machine even though I always used the previous dst format it's okay. where is the problem i don't know what to do (sorry my english is not good, i'm indonesian) thank you

      Please try a .jef format if you can get it. It must be unzipped. Are you using the File manager to transfer?
