I came here today after buying new speakers trying to achieve what you are explaining to us , the sound from my klipsh rp 600m is well to my satisfaction , powered by an icon audio 20pp valve amp , just enough base for me , Crystal vocals , nice cymbals and drum , but totally no depth and separation, I sit in a central position nice triangle set up , it just sounds a bit one dimensional , I will now see if you have done a second recording for your next step , thanks for the explanation ,

Nice vid suggestion give us examples for instance have a cd in mind and tell us in this song you should hear this in this location that way we have something as a refence point

The setup of your speakers and looking after the room accoustics is the MOST important thing always but ofcourse the level of the system is going to make a big difference..
