The use of mundane items like thumbtacks and chalk for espionage signals is so fascinating. The simplicity of spycraft during the Cold War never ceases to amaze me.
No, it was all just stupidity. The fact that a bunch of University educated morons don't feel the need to go over 101 courses. Lmfao, happy childhood .... lmfao. Just like Robert, what you couldn't wait any longer ... lmfao, why did you get your grandmother to let you out ... o wait, why didn't you get your child to do it ... with their superior intellect
This channel has the most epic segways to commercials...20 min of espionage story leading to "He had a traumatic relationship with his father...Maybe therapy could have helped...give our sponsor better help a try" 😂 Fascinating story!
When an FBI agent, who is tasked with protecting the nation, betrays and provides classified information to the enemy, it is not only a violation of the law but also a breach of trust in the entire system. This is a crime that cannot be justified, regardless of personal or financial reasons.
This is really disturbing, even though I have read on this before. What's just as disturbing is the potential risk our intelligence is facing in the near future. This is not a political issue, it's a possible life changing issue that threatens life, our military and America. Once credibility is destroyed you will rarely, if ever get it back. Just truly worrying. Thank you for this video.
Great video as always, thanks Cindy! Just a side note, audio seems out of sync when you talk directly to camera. I for one don’t care about it, the content is great, but I just wanted to let you know.
You have done well crafted job, quite accurate and digging deep into cases of American doubles , recruited from GRU(Polyakov, Penkovsky, Popov), but mostly at KGB, of the various units of it. Especially in the so called “Spy decade” it were numerous of KGB spies working for CIA, American Embassy in Moscow. Martha Peterson, Cherry Libernate apprehended in Moscow. Philby and company, Hansen, Eimes, big Cuban network of American officials turned Cuban spies, George Blake and many other less known spyed for Soviets. And only Aimes, the greediest bastard of all serving right (now) justified execution of law. People, Soviet agents , many doubles, working successfully for years, and only (not cause of their sleep up or unprofessionalism, but) died because of that traitor.
I don't think Hansen's father should bear the blame for him betraying the US. Hansen himself was a flawed individual with incredible weaknesses. The FBI also has to take some blame for having recruited him and kept him there for so long.
I found the movie: "Breach is the suspense thriller based on the true story of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying". Darn, now I have to figure out how to watch it again 😉
@MhdRAZI-n7g Darn you! You made me go find it: "Breach is the suspense thriller based on the true story of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying" It is very good.
Cindy Pom. Since you asked. Can you explore physicist John Wheeler's geons and why we're not hearing about it in todays popular science? It's an incredible idea. Totally undiscussed, while things like multiverse get endless press (and speaking engagements).
Are you disappointed she isn't spending her old age in poverty? Why do men always need to see women suffer when they've done little wrong? Police who murder unarmed civilians in US get to keep theirs. That probably doesn't concern you.
17:44 STFU - that’s some of the most BS claim by a psychologist. He did a that to seek approval of his father… it’s a narrative spun by this channel to promote a sponsor that’s also corrupt
You've gotta be kidding@@LeonardoPisano-sn2lp .... that jag brought over 4,000 frivolous lawsuits since 1973. His peers found him guilty, so sorry: no hoax on his crimes. He's guilty. Not my fault you don't "get it".

Yo your voice is so monotone it’s hard to listen and is very boring. Facts and knowledge are great but I could care less due to presentation please work on that for next vid🙂

Fascinating story!
It’s amazing how much this channel has grew in just a few years. The progression and growth is amazing. Much deserved ❤
*has grown
What a beautiful documentary, thank you
This is a fascinating documentary. This guy was sick!!!
We are so busy building this shiny world that we don't bother to fix the trauma that we hold inside ourselves
A big fan! Great content as always 👏Great narration ❤
Appreciated, thank you.
Nice video, and interesting topics.
Really wish the videos were longer. Youre a great narrator. More depth and longer runtime would be awesome.
His only crime is not being from the Israeli Mossad.
The final pоgrom is on its way
Makes one wonder how many moles are in various areas of our goverment.
Another great video, thank you.
This treason would've been prevented by Better Help.
His story deserves a movie ngl
Find the movie called Breach

an 18min ad for Betterhelp is wild

I always wonder what they think their end game is.
So his dad was right to warn his bride at least
This is so wild
Thanks
we definitely need a movie about him.

I found the movie: "Breach is the suspense thriller based on the true story of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying". Darn, now I have to figure out how to watch it again 😉
Who betray his country has no Faith.
I appreciate this channel, the narrative you craft and the voice you have
so in the end his poor example of a father was right
Was he right or was it a self-fulfilling prophesy?
Not really, his father stuffed him up, the sins of the father shall be passed to the son
What-a-minute! Is that the TH-cam educator Arvin Ash? 🧐
Can you please make a video on how you came out of the misery which you had planned
Didn't they make a movie about that? Or did I miss you mentioning it in the video?
did they??
@MhdRAZI-n7g The story is so familiar right down to how he got caught.

FBI didn't suspected their agents were living beyond their means!
Fun Fact: His wife got to keep his pension.

Wait hold on. Our host must be related to Nothing Phone CEO. They look so similar.
Breach is the movie.
This it 16:06 absolutely right, totally agree on it. Although, you haven’t mentioned one small detail about Opus Dei, isn’t so.
