the lefthanded issue is already explained😉...but the noise you get is from too much friction....using a minaturepottey wheel requiers a very soft plastic clay...and after centering with my fingers(on a high speed) i use mostly the tools to form(low speed)...for the rest its like regular pottery...a lotttt of practice😂😂😂...have fun...you make lovely minipottery.....i am going the reverse way...started with a miniwheel and now bought a bigger tabletopwheel...a steep learningcurve ahead...lol
You are absolutely right! The clay I used was a bit stiff. The next time, a softer clay. It's a whole new experience, I am up for the challenge. Thanks for commenting!
Probably not. I just recently uploaded a video showing the difficulties of throwing a large vessel on such a small wheel. Watch the video to see how it worked out. Thanks for the comment!
If you turn the knob up it turns in one direction and if you move it down it turns in the other.
Thank you so much for that! I'm going to try on the next video.

It's not the knob it's the power switch. Going up goes one way flipping it down makes it go the other (clockwise and counter)
Thank you! I will try that as well.
I need something that rotates at 60 rpm- not for pottery but for a separate project. Would this machine rotate reliably at 60 rpm?
Thanks 👍
According to the packaging, it is adjustable from 0-300 RPM. So, yes!
what is the biggest project you can make with this? can you make a normal size mug?
