Juniper for Solo Cello was written for my friend Ryan Snapp. I met Ryan at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in 2012. The Campus of the University of the South is a picturesque place full of charming architecture tucked amongst the hills and woods of southwestern Tennessee. I distinctly remember the smell of juniper berries in the air during those hot summer days.
This is another piece from every in my studies at the University of Louisville. I think of this piece as an exploration of the technical & expressive capabilities of the cello while I was still shaping my own technical and expressive capabilities!
Killer piece!
Thank you!

So good!
Many thanks!
I wish you had some kind of legend or key to clarify some of the unusual markings
May I ask which markings you are referring to?
Where can I get a score?
