- Psalm 13 is the Psalm you read when you feel like you have been forgotten by God and don’t know where else to turn. But when you hit verses 5&6, hopefully, like David, it leaves you feeling encouraged and swept away by His goodness rather than stuck in the heaviness of waiting. 🤍
These short, but sweet, six verses remind us that we are not alone as we wait for the the hand of the Lord. David felt it too, and King Jesus meets us right there and walks the path with us.
I know verses five and six will help you as much as they have helped me. 🤍

1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
It's amazing that David wrote that almost 3000 years ago and it is still so applicable today. Thanks for sharing.

Amen, he is always moving. I need to practice thanking him for what he's doing, working on things I know nothing about. In the waiting I tend to think that God is simply training my patience and love for him and that would be enough but who knows? God knows and is working innumerable things together in his perfect timing!
He does SOOOO MUCH in the waiting! He’s growing a garden and we are just looking at a seed. These are things I remind myself of daily. But He is so good, and His love endures forever. He understands our limited perspective compared to His limitless one and thank God He is merciful. I have learned a lot but I am no expert, and I find He is teaching me new things about process and waiting consistently. 🙌

0:07 my heart skipped a beat since I thought you said “Im 13” and was in shock for a second then I realized it was Psalm 13. Im not a believer or even a theist, but it’s interesting to see people still believe in something I find as a weird concept. I still believe it’s dying out in my country atleast.

if you wait on God you need a ton of patience and more patience in many areas, Heb 6:12 Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.
Very very true! Patience, trust, and remembering He loves us and knows what’s best, and He will also use every portion of the process! He reminded me last night with Psalm 20:7 “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the Name of the Lord our God.”
Could you please do a video what psalms and prayers to do to loose weight and not be in the sun of gluttony…. Specially when wanting to fast and pray. I believe people could try to curse us and wish evil.
Fasting is something personal between you and God. It’s what He lays on your heart to do. Some, like the Daniel fast, are laid out in Scripture, but (and I promise I am saying this with the kindest heart) losing weight shouldn’t be the focus. If you fast to know Him better, to pray and press in to Him, He will help you with the rest.
As for people speaking curses over you, it is written in Isaiah 54 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you shall refute every tongue that accuses you.” No word negative spoken over you will stand. I break that power in the name of Jesus.

Its interesting because I have thought of 13 as the number of long awaited breakthrough. They marched around jericho 13 times. Issaic was born 13 years after ishmael, the jews in esther were delivered on the 13th day, joseph lived 13 years of hardship from the day he had his dream to the day was fulfilled.
Numerology is not doctrine but its there for a reason as one of the lesser assurances of God... idk, I've never been huge on signs but lately the number of 13s in my life has been undeniable. I drive a wheelchair taxi and I will literally have back to back to back to back trips that are either 13 miles or 13 minutes long which isn't a miracle but also ain't nothin.
Or like this morning I checked out your channel to see the latest video posted 13 hours ago and the next video on the feed after watching was on psalm 13, not a miracle but not likely...
