Thanks you 😁
Real nice..I have to get one eventually.
I got my first 28 years ago... I already have another to do 😁
Get them big wheels rolling !
Awesome work!
Looking forward to seeing it
can't wait to get it on the layouts at the clubs 👍
I had to watch this Series AGAIN!! Thoroughly enjoyed!
I've got to get hold of RC Graphics, and see if Andrew ships to the U.S. The quality is amazing, and I LOVE the separate letters. 👍👍😎
I am very pleased with how it turned out. I took it to a small RC Truck mee and it looked fantastic next to my other movie trucks. I pleased you enjoy the build series. I've just moved house so my work bench is none existent and I'm in the process of designing a new work bench which I hope will be bigger and better.
Ooooooo!!!! Moving can be exciting. Pain in the Arse too! Well, more work space will be a great thing.
My Daughter just had Drama - and moved back IN. Now I've got LESS workspace!! 😠😭😭
Parenting. GRRRRRR!!
@@TeriWilde My Daughter at least moved out since this last comment!
WE moved too, finally settling in and unpacking. 🤬🤬🤬 I've had to be on a 10 MONTH hiatus from RC!! ☹️ But getting back into it finally!
Gave me the opportunity to thoroughly research the crazy WIRING of the Beier Sound/Light System. Many Videos, and a TONNE of time on the Beier Forum (in German, but easily translated and they respond to my many queries in English!)....
I think I'm finally ready to install Beier in my Smokey and the Bandit Grand Hauler!!
I hope you'll join me. 🙂 I hope you'll join me in my entire Series!

I have same grill aluminum polish will make it mirror finish 👍🏾
They do polish up nice and the more you polish the more shine you get, I was happy with stopping before it got to shiny. 😎
One thing that's WORTH the money.... Aluminiuminium Air Horns! Far more durable, and fix from the inside with nuts.
The most I've paid for a set was $28.00 (£17!!)
I must say again... Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! ❤👍👍😎
I have the alloy air-horns on my Snowman truck, I was going to put some on this, but I thought I'd keep things as stock as possible because once you start upgrading, it'll never end...
My Snowman build is in excess of £7800 ($8,720) because I built it back when there wasn't much available, and I had to have made a lot of custom CNC parts made. And I think I had 187 alloy parts anodised Black so the shade of black all matched throughout.
@@TeriWilde OUCH!!! The parts and electronics for my Snowman was $5100 !!! (Don't tell my wife!)
Yes my friend, I know that Rabbit Hole. I bought the Air Horns because I couldn't build the PLASTIC kit ones without breaking!
Fat, Old fingers... plus I've got cats!
well i have enjoyed the ride along with you its been great and i have picked up a few ideas esp the steering mod. like you i also recently discover'd the chrome pen with i used on a full set of 3d printed hubs for my merc truck and the finish is fantastic the overhall finish is fantastic cant wait for the next video
many thanks teri
The next video...? well, what is a truck without knowing how it works 😎👍😁
Absolutely GORGEOUS! 👋👋👋👋👋
Brilliant Teri! All the little things really add up. LOVE the Graphics!! There's nothing like those available in the U.S. 😞 At least not the excellent clear film type - particularly the Lettering.
I recently discovered the Molotow Chrome Paint Pens. Don't know how I ever got by without them! I now sand Chrome bits smooth, because these Pens do a brilliant touch up job. 😊
I didn't think of using it on Window and Fender Trim. I believe I will now!!
Top Tip the Heat Shield Grab Irons!! I would prefer them centred as well.
Honestly Teri, thank you!! I feel I've just had a crash course in Semi Truck building and detailing!!
I'm very happy indeed with how it's turned out, The Molotow chrome pen is a recent discovery of mine and just breaks up the main colour a little... 😎
I love building there trucks and often mumble to myself as I'm building them, you just get an insight into how I do thing and if folks have take one thing away to help them with their build then all is good, I'm glad you enjoyed being along for the ride... 👍

I truly did! My Grand Hauler Build Series isn't as well put together as yours... And it's still going.
But I used a few of your Tips, giving you credit of course!
Any time you want to do this again, I'll be following along. 😊
I did a similar thing with my coupler link from the servo as well. I didn't like that the solid pushrod/servo took away the auto lock feature when coupling. That and if I had the radio off I had to force the servo to move to unhook the truck. I used 5 strands of hd thread twisted together to make a cord which is a similar diameter as yours but did not use the link ends. I just wrapped the cord around the balls, tied a couple of knots and secured the knots with a drop of ca. Now it is very stealthy and you can hardly see it. As soon as I unhook, I reverse the servo back and the auto locking works as it should when I re-couple.
There are 5 variations of the Tamiya 5th Wheel and using a solid rod only affects some of them... using a cord was just an idea I had and it worked quite well 👍
@@TeriWilde Yes the cord system works perfect. I am using the 5th wheel that comes with the light kit.
