I think the wirless is a bit of a hard sell at $90. It still has similarly poor motion latency as the original haste wirless, dosnt have a reduction in weight, and dosnt offer anything like higher polling rate or somthing to really set it apart from the original haste. With a slightly worse, but still flawless sensor and some holes poked in the shell, the og haste wirless seems a lot more appealing at just $50 on Amazon. I feel like the haste 2 wired is where the real value proposition is, at just 53 grams and having 8k polling (although from my testing the 8k can be a little wonky on, and it dosnt have motionsync so 4k is probably just the ideal way to run the mouse) and an actually good implementation of 4k, the price of 60 seems quite good to me.
@@johnweebfps still at $90 its a hard sell. Especially with Lamzu just dropping 4k versions of the atlantis & atlantis mini at $99. Just not worth it to buy this over something like that.
@@johnweebfps Well, i use it on game where i need to click fast and hold and release the button, and it does a big difference even compared to a viper mini, is that noticeable that feels like it is limitating me. I bought this mouse a year ago, and still hating the fact that HP is doing no shit about this.
Tried this for a full week and returned it. Sensor, clicks and 8Khz were nice. However, the shape, material and mouse edges on the bottom are not for me. The edges on bottom left and right are sharp and scrape during lift-off. I was constantly fighting to keep this in my hand even with the included grips. The palm slips and any weight pressed down at back lifted mouse to scrap back edge. Had a weird glitch where 1600 DPI could not be set and saved in the software, 800, 1400, 1500, 1700 and 3200, 6400 all worked etc. But setting 1600 the UI would say its set, but actually 800dpi was set and saved. Then trying to resave 1600 would force the software to reset DPIs. I can see how others might enjoy this mouse pending their hand size and grip style though. I have large? hands and it was uncomfortable [21cm/13.5cm]
@@Ghost_P Actually flatter shape is preferred believe it or not. Even with larger hands, no issues with Logitech G Pro/305, Xtrfy MZ1, Razer DA or Viper including mini. I did not like the hump nor feeling of the materials on the Haste 2. Whatever they used to achieve the lower weight made it feel cheap and slippery in my hands.

Not diamond but wanna answer still, shape is king. Looks very similar to the Logitech G Pro. I say that because I have one and I wish Logtech would fix the double click insanity for once... Anyhow, I need a new mouse and somewthing with a similar shape. I don't game on PC anymore, I just want a mouse that works and with the right shape. That's all.
I did not understand why I need to buy this mouse. It does not offer 4k polling rate in wireless. It does not say whether these switches offer faster speed in ms than competitors. It does not say if wireless position tracking is more precise than of competitors. It says nothing to prompt me to switch from logitech g pro superlight.
I got this mouse like 4 days ago after watching this video, got it during a sale and for my use case which is pretty casual gaming this mouse is very good, coming from a g305 this thing feels very very light which does make it easier yo move around and the sensor and latency has been good for me, however the software could be better.
My wired haste is one of my favorite mice but when I tried the wireless I had massive problems with it. The sensor would randomly flip out and the DPI settings would often change themselves without me pressing anything. I had read some people had the same problem on reddit but there was never any solutions for me. There's quite a jump in price between the wireless and wired version ($90 vs $60) and a small wight difference too (61g vs 53g - that's an astounding 13.11475409836066% lighter! Approximately. Roughly. If one were to be vague about it...) and then there's the higher polling rate (1000Hz vs 8000Hz). Only thing I wish the wired one had was a detachable cable, because that will be the first point of failure on a product that would last much much longer were it not for that itty bitty niggle. I'm wary of buying a wireless mouse because my hands are... very sensitive to... uh... wi-fi. I'm serious.
