Yes, we should. The Israelites were told to carry a sword as they rebuilt the wall. We are to be Holy and Righteous Warriors. Pray we don't have to be used but always be prepared to protect the flock.
I'm honestly not out to town enough to bother with carry and permits anymore, but I do think good Christian men absolutely should be out there ready to protect themselves and others. Particularly others. My employer will term me if they catch me with a gun, and I'm usually too tired at the end of the week to spend much time out and about due to working in a warehouse. In my home, I have my AR, I have my 12g, I don't need state permission to keep a 9mm on my hip to fight my way back to them. A good Christian man isn't looking for a fight, and probably won't deal with one, but it's important to be ready because we're actively under attack, Satan hates that we have the technology to fight back, and he hates the self control we demonstrate even more.
I was a correctional officer in Missouri for 25 yrs. Retired now. Learned a lot from the training and the job. I also became a training officer for about 15 yrs .
Use to carry an sig x macro with an optic. Y’all need to get in that optic game cuz it’s the next level of accuracy. To be honest 7 rounds is not enough. I now carry the sig fuse which is basically longer slide macro with holosun green dot. Go plant flashlight with laser and a holster that will fit with flashlight, 17rd mag and one 21 rd mag on my side. Last thing is I have the hoge pistol grip on the fuse to have better grip and when I’m carrying for the stippling to not ride on my skin. I’m happy to see the med kits and major trauma kit that includes everything because lots of guys who carry don’t think about the fight after the fight which is to make sure you don’t have holes in yea. My suggestion is to upgrade pistols to higher capacity with an optic and a light attached. I have a light separate from the pistol too. Gosh good stuff guys 👍🏼
Thanks for the kind words and recommendations man. I've been meaning to get stippling on my grip for some time, and your comment reminded me to get that done!
Really enjoyed this! I've been in both ministry and the TH-cam Firearms space for a few years. I was sorta hoping for a talk through Scripture about Christians and use of force/self-defense. Maybe a later episode!
I agree. Also, you guys may want to look into Refuge Medical. The price is higher than some med kits, but for very good reasons. Refuge Medical is also an awesome biblically based company, and they operate Grindstone Ministries to help in disaster areas. The owner runs Kaleb House as well; a nonprofit to remove trafficked children from those circumstances, and provide a place for them to grow in Christ.
I hardley carry for myself but always when I'm with my family. CZ-75 SP-01. Medical bag with everthing from tummy medicine to chest seals. My personal IFAK is carried in a fanny pack.
@@StevenMorgan-m3c I know exactly nothing about gun safety but am looking forward to getting training, I moved from California to Texas for goodness sakes!!! 😂😂😂😂 Guns are all Californian’s talk about because of the Nazi regime there, I get to Texas and no one talks about guns because they don’t need to!! 😂😂😂😂 We own a gun but our son has it so it’s just out of sight out of mind, guess we just need to jump in and do it!!! A safe is definitely in our future, thanks for the suggestion
teach them proper gun safety. teach them so that they dont have curious eyes and hands, and lastly dont have them accessible to them. on your body is sufficient. keep it on you or locked up. my son was a hugger, i had to teach him how to hug me because i always have a gun on me.
Jesus said He does not come to bring peace, but to be like a sword separating father from son and daughter from mother. AND to contend for the faith. In short, go out, confront people, but always be certain the act is done for God's Will and NOT to instigate a fight. Doing the latter feeds the internal beast looking to feed sin. Doing the former is fulfilling God's calling for all Christians.
Currently rebuilding our church safety team. I was hoping to hear more about defending self and others from a scripture standpoint. I currently carry either of my 9mm pistols, folding knife, multitool, and several other items for various reasons. I live in Indiana where we have constitutional carry as well but I also have my lifetime carry license for when I travel to another state that doesn't
Building or rebuilding a church safety team is a great idea. Just to have a plan should anything happen is key. We've done some of that, but always need more of it. And thank you for the feedback. Great suggestion for us to follow up on!

Well said sir! My employers rules are the same as yours, and we also have to abide by them. We couldn't agree more.
Firearms are the equivalent to a sword back in the days. It doesn't make a man evil to be willing to protect...on that note, 19X is my choice for EDC

I carry a gun for the same reason I carry a spare tire, a first aid kit, and other items. IN CASE I DO NEED THEM.

@@EverydayChristians-EDC Just wanted to follow up with the same sentiment, great video but would also be good to see this.

I believe in carrying and guns in general, but I am apprehensive about having guns around my kids, my youngest is very fascinated by them.
Maybe a quick acting safe might fit your situation?

Jesus said "those who have no sword shed your cloak and buy one."
We recently read that scripture as well. Brian was geeking out a bit on that one. :D

If your stream light died on you, send it back for a warranty
Sell your cloak, buy a sword.
A true Christian would carry no weapons. If you put your faith in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit then no one can harm you.
When was church changed to Sunday ????
*Looks down in Canik and Olight superiority* Pathetic 🤣😂
Got to have some way to pierce the hearts of the unbelievers, ha ha ha!
