    How do I remove what is left in the round bottom flask? Do I have to solubilize in another solvent to remove? If my product of interest is what remains in the rotary evaporator.

      @@th3great13 You can remove your material prior to complete evaporation for easier removal. This requires afterwards a secondary purge process which can be done in a vacuum oven at low temperatures. You may also add a cold trap between your oven and vacuum pump in order to collect remaining solvent.
      The other way is through a complete purge when the extracted material adheres to the sides of the florence flask and you in turn must use a scraper to remove the residue. Tedious, but effective.
