If you help Briala in any way, Sera says 11:16 "Ugh, you want to know the one thing I got out of all that mess? The one thing? Don't sleep with empresses. That's what that was *all* about." If you help Briala blackmail Gaspard: "That, and Briala being an idiot. The whole thing would've gone different if that little piss-up wasn't in the middle." If you help Briala reunite with Celene: "We patch their spat... But none of it would have happened like that." Oh yeah, Orlesian nobles serial murdering elves, Gaspard trying to make Dalish hunting legal, Celene purging the Halamshiral Alienage. NONE OF THAT factored in for Sera, JUST Briala. Racist, victim-blaming Sera.
Doesn't one of Briala's own spies also blame her for it though? And doesn't she explicitly say that if word got out, it would ruin her reputation with all of the other elves, ie they'd blame her for it too? Wasn't that her entire reasoning for her thinking Briala was trying to have her assassinated, because she knew too much about it (even though it was probably just another trick by Florianne)?
