    How do you determine the 50/25/15 KIAS excess speed? Do you request lead's KIAS over voice first and adjust own speed accordingly?

      You should know your rendezvous speed, in this case it was 350 knots indicated. So based on that, 365/375/400. If you are planning to rejoin just ask lead what their speed is, its their job to hold it or let you know if they are adjusting.

    @Jabbers what software are you using for editing and writing on the screen?

    • @Jabbers
      @Jabbers  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Derrick Cochran OBS for recording DCS. Audacity for voice over. Adobe Premiere for video editing and production

      the main thing I was wondering about is the ability to write on the screen. What do you use for that? OBS?

    How do you hold your vertical change so steadily? Are you using altitude hold?

    • @Jabbers

      +Aaron Lundblade no autopilot, just small control inputs, formation stuff should take control inputs from your fingers rather than your arm, much. Enter precision

      Jabbers are you just beeping the trim?

    • @Jabbers
      @Jabbers  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Aaron Lundblade the f15 doesn't require trim

      Jabbers awesome, I'm just getting back into DCS I don't remember a precision mode. Do you happen to remember the default key for that? I'm going to have to try it out tonight.

      There is no precision mode, that is my phone autocorrecting garbage. You just have to learn to make slight control inputs, very fine, very small. If your joystick isnt great you might consider using curves in your axis settings, this initial inputs are small but more aggressive inputs are larger. This video seems to show how to set them up for the P51, maybe you can adapt it. th-cam.com/video/WB-UZuhdrTI/w-d-xo.html

    I really liked this video and the style but one minor gripe it sounds like your voice is being stereowidened/panning left to right and it's really distracting!

      +SkillthoLaggins interesting, I'll fix that in future stuff. Thanks for the feedback.
