So? That’s taking credit away from a Washington team and Sam Howell who played great. But they still beat them and haven’t dropped a game to a team good or bad. And they’re still leading the NFC East, UNDEFEATED.
It’s one thing to be an average at best QB managing the game when your Defence and Special Teams have put you in a position where you’re up 14 points or more. But it’s a lot different when you’re playing in a tight game or from behind and need to press and not manage the game.
And even under perfect circumstances, Dak has still been Dak and all those Red Zone opportunities have gone begging. I don’t doubt Micah and that defence will keep standing up. But I also don’t doubt Dak is the weak link that’s gonna lose you games in clutch moments against the good teams. It’s what he does. It’s what he’s always done for over 7 years 😂
And you Cowboy Fans know it too. You’ve seen it in so many playoff games. You know that when it comes to the post season and you’re up against a GOOD team, the Cowboys will do their job to win so much so that they’ll be in a position to win. Giants - 32nd Offense/22nd Defense
Jets - 27th Offense/14th Defense
Cardinals - 17th Offense/26the Defense

So Dallas with their legit D, rightfully steamrolled these teams Offenses.... until they played the Cards, the best ranked offense of the 4. The difference in that game? Dallas D didn't score. That should make Cowboys fans nervous. Dallas is beating teams they should beat... but the teams they are beating aren't even middle of the pack teams, and they lost to one that IS
... so Dallas really hasn't been tested yet. That test is Sunday.

Against AZ, Dallas was missing 3 Pro Bowl OL so their Offensive struggles had a lot to do with that. I think the coaches were too conservative in sitting Tyron Smith and Zack Martin out that game thinking they would easily win.
Offense in their 3 wins hasn’t needed to do too much. Settling for field goals and being conservative was the recipe to win these blowouts.
Not to mention Diggs being out

Zach Martin allowed one sack in three years but oh it' the Cardinals. Cowboys shouldn't have lost to them... I agree but we are never given the benefit of the doubt.

Eagles fan here. James Jones makes excellent points and is correct. Our only defense against Cowboys can only be hypothetical “right now”, but if and when the game comes down to the wire can you trust Dak to win you the game. Not your RB1-2, Defensive TD, Special Teams, but Daks Arm or legs. I don’t think he’s earned that trust just yet. I will give them their flowers and hope the Eagles don’t over look them cause we still got plenty to work on.

I guess Joy forgets that the Cowboys offense will have LESS possessions when their defense scores 6. You score, and give the ball right back to patriots offense. Your offense literally doesn’t have as many opportunities to score, when your defense scores. Such casual, surface level, box score readers on this show. Dak is throwing the ball a lot and throwing it accurately. We still have the same problem with receivers not catching well thrown balls (TEs specifically). As soon as we fix that, we're winning every game from there.

So the patriots hold teams to below 20 points and cowboys offense scored 24 points. What Joy also forgot to add is that once the Cowboys were up 28-3 at half time, they didn’t feel the need to run their full offense and just run the ball. As a matter of fact, the backups came in midway into the 4th quarter. Due to a non competitive game, Joy is therefore penalizing the offense for not scoring more points. Context is key people
