But let me explain my BETTER reason. Just bare in mind, I don't think the corpse looks good or realistic. Haha, not even close. And I think that this redesign is AMAZING! But I do like this one idea that I have. You see, I think people are way too harsh on the flesh that Scott implemented into both Springtrap and Scraptrap. Yes, they look weird. But I've also always kind of liked the implications of why the flesh was modelled in such a way. Have you ever seen those types of vines that grow around things? Like, they curl and twist and adapt to whatever they're growing onto? I compare Scott's design for the flesh similar to that. My interpretation of Afton's corpse is that his body has become one in the same with the suit. So whatever is left of his body GROWS around the suit. Remember, Afton died, but his agony and remnant and whatever it is in the FNAF lore these days DIDN'T die. And after 30 or so years, Afton's body STILL didn't fully decompose. What I believe this meant is that, whatever was left of his body, started to adapt and grow in the suit. The remnant or agony caused the remains of William that weren't entirely dead to fuse with it. The flesh that started growing used the new endoskeleton as the NEW skeleton for it to grow on, making the outer shell kind of like a suit of armour. Like a bug with an exoskeleton and soft insides. This flesh grew around the endoskeleton, allowing him to move using the suit as his new body. That would explain the ANKLE GUTS. We can even see the springlocks pulling at his skull (the only thing that seems to be remotely human looking). It's pulled and elongated into this permanent look of terror. Scraptrap's corpse kind of supports this idea. By the time we see him in Pizzeria Simulator, he's got a new suit. But this new corpse has MUCH more guts everywhere, growing in clumps instead of in individual vine-like things. He's even started to grow BONE. Yes, you read that right. BONE. We can see in the corpse that he is growing bone marrow of sorts (the bone lungs). Even his skull which (as goofy as it looks) follows the trend. It's elongated, it's stretched, it doesn't look even REMOTELY human anymore. He even has lips, teeth, BONE EARS. He's even grown back a bit of a nose. The skull is no longer fleshy, it's disfigured and twisted. He's grown back some facial features too, some bone and some not. His skull is molded to PERFECTLY fit the mask. And we can see that he's still growing flesh. So the remnants of his body, by whatever means, have basically adapted to the suit to make it a fully functional body. I would have just liked to see some more weird guts to make it feel more like Scott and to support my own personal headcanon. As Obi-Wan Kenobi once said, "He's more machine now than man. @@weirdoss7 Maybe I am just nostalgic for ankle guts, but the whole growing body to adapt to the suit has always been my headcanon for Springtrap's weird guts XD
This makes 100% sense because his remnant of agony I think his remnant had a memory that's why in fnaf 6 he had bones because it's been awhile after fazbears fright fire that his flesh over time had some time to start growing flesh back and that's why he has lungs because he's body wanted to grow back to work correctly because Maybe in fnaf 6 you can probably hear him breathing sense he has lungs again so maybe after fnaf 3 his body needed to GROW back so he ate people so his body can live longer so if his body were to go into a different suit because he almost died he found I different suit and then started to eat people to build him self up so that's why he looks weird he Adapted to the suit to fit in it good also I think sense when his flesh rapped around the endo and then after he started to eat people his remnant got to work and Modified his endo skeleton to look like a skeleton that's the bones look a different color that's why he has two for arms that's my theory
this is great, but i feel like some things people would forget is that the suit was never specifically stated to have been designed with afton's dimensions in mind. Instead of the exoskeleton perfectly fitting him, there would most likely still be space around him to frame the suit . The inner framing of the spring locks would be more likely to contract into his skin and assume his shape, but the suit and exo itself would make Afton seem a bit larger than he actually is. Aside from that, and maybe how there seems to be pieces of suit that impaled behind his eyesockets, I really like this design!
Yeah but.. its called Springlock Suit. A springlock mechanism holds the end position of a lever quickly and holds it there firmly, so theoretically it will just shrink to the person's dimensions through some input that is used by entering the suit, shrinking both the inside and possibly the outside to allow the person to move
jesus christ, I haven't checked your channel on ages, and you're still at the edits huh? I remember coming here back when I was a little dumbass, and really into the FNaF community. keep it up!
I always liked the old ScrapTrap design, the only flaw I ever saw was the corpse inside- he literally has BONE EARS- . . . and the fact the old design resembled a type of- old toy design to me, and how maybe kids from the 80's saw them as funny characters- while if you looked back at them today, you would probably question how children weren't running in the opposite direction of it. Very good edit!
this is absolutely breathtaking, especially in comparison to the scraptrap we got. everything about this design is incredible, and it really makes him feel old and rusted, while the mismatched coloration of the casing helps fulfill the "scrap" aspect of his design more so than the original did. you did a great job with this! not to mention your photo editing skills are seriously impressive. my only criticism with the design would be that the body proportions feel almost too lifelike compared to the more exaggerated size we see in a design like springtrap's, but honestly, that's only a flaw if you were to look at this as something that could potentially be in a fnaf game. without that context it's another trait that makes this design feel a lot better, and certainly a lot more grim than the original.
One of the best redesigns of scrap trap. Plus the explanation of why the suit is different is SO GOOD. It literally gives a new meaning to his name scraptrap. Scrap as in a scrapped design. Plus plush trap being designed off a prototype makes so much sense and is realistic
woahhh, i've never seen something like this before! most other speed edits are just poorly put together parts, this one actually looks like a 3d render! nice job!
Easily my favorite Scraptrap redesign I've seen! I love how you can still see hints of the original charred Springtrap suit underneath the more in-tact Springbonnie suit. Also, taking inspiration from Plushtrap is genius along with the in-lore explanation for it!
I think it be a cool mechanic that if you make noise with you flashlight, scraptrap would hear it since he has no eyes, and the only way to distract him is to play some type of sound to lead him away.
Bro, your the guy on Reddit! I was the one who sent you the thing about the bone being visible on the fracture and the different types of them. I’m glad you used them. This is actually terrifying, I Imagine that from the 30 years in the room and the countless fires, he has become nothing but deformed and decomposed organs on a withered skeleton cauterized to an aged, broken, rabbit suit shell.
The only thing wrong was the awful head proportion but yours gives a sense of "naturality" between the "imposible" which is a man still alive after being practically dismembered inside a sweaty ass suit 😂 great job!
9/10 amazing redesign, i like the idea that he is skull is so burned up since fire in Fazbear Fright at the end of FNAF 3, but his shape of the head should be same as springtrap from FNAF 3 and maybe costume should be more burned But this head is definitely better than Jimmy Neutron's head from FNAF 6
This gotta be my favourite redesign of the character, not only it makes it even more lore accurate than the original, it has a lot of intricate details and design choices, that highlight the right parts. And the head shape choice was also a great addition, it sort of looks like a distorted prototype of more modern animatronics like Lefty. The two main color schemes of older and newer parts tells a story. And the lack of eyes makes the whole picture much more unsettling, knowing that instead of robotic eyes, you're staring into a rotten corpse's skull. Overall, great job with the redesign.
One thing I’m doing with the Springtrap equivalent for a fangame I’m making is that I plan out where the springlocks are in the suits of the fangame, then I design what a corpse with the holes in the correct places would look like, then I add a little bit of withering and decay, and only then do I add the endo and suit. It helps make a genuinely scary design and not another problem of the suit being modeled before the corpse, like what I assume happened with Scraptrap.
Part of my problem with the original design is that it looks too slim to a springlock suit, especially since the spring locks are supposed to push the suit parts to the sides of the suit.

i love this design, it's so much better than the original one. but the chest and upper jaw is too light imo. also i like the skull design, it's really looks rotten and i love the absence of eyes👀 a really solid redesing 9/10
Scraptraps design was always so unfortunate. Not only because of how it ended up looking, but I think the major thing that got people upset/disappointed was that it was supposed to be the return of Springtrap, the character with the most beloved design. That's partly why I honestly like Burntrap quite a bit. Not in how he's used, but in design and concept, in my opionion Burntrap is was Scraptrap should've been; it looks like a burned, more decayed version of Springtrap. And it also highlights the odd design decisions of Scraptrap, because trying to follow a logical progression from the Springtrap design that goes to the Burntrap design wouldn't be difficult at all, islf it wasn't for Scraptrap. A major part of this is because of the head. Which is why I was like "this is already so much better!" As soon as you did the head, because it's much more proportional and doesn't look like a human FunkoPop
Awesome redesign! I love how it improves on the structure of Scraptrap, especially the head. It even includes some elements of the old design that did work and enhances them, another thing I enjoyed. The only critique would be the eyes being removed, as I felt that would help give it the Afton appeal. But overall, this was amazing.
i love how you used a mixture of shading and texture to actually make the model look 3d-ish its amazing (also it may just be me but why does it look like williams scull is bigger than his head, and also why does he have sharp teeth???)
This video reminds me of those speed photoshops that I would always watch on my kindle fire, ahhh 2016 was one hell of a time. I like how he even uses the same music that were in those same videos, thanks man, you took me back to my 9 yr old years, the design by the way is so cool, great work and I love the plushtrap idea, least it makes sense.
Scraptrap/afton is meant to be more stripped down, because William needed to get rid of that suit. (it's the reason audio lures affected him) this design looks more like a springtrap redesign rather than a redesign of scraptrap.
It’s infinitely better than the original because you mix springtrap and scraptrap kinda and also give him more flesh and a realistic broken arm bone and the fact he has no eyes is cool
Scrap trap in my opinion is the best design for Springtrap, because when you look at Springtrap you see Springtrap, you see the animatronic and the spring lock suit. But when you look at scrap trap you see William Afton, you see the man inside of the suit and you see the mistakes he made. Scrap traps bad design is integral to his character, because if Scott made him look like Springtrap, then we would basically ignore his actual character. Scrap trap is the best design for Springtrap because we can actually see William Afton, not just the withered and broken down animatronic.
Springtrap's design doesn't make it obvious that there's a human body trapped inside the suit. But it gives subtle hints like the eyes and Afton's real jaw when Springtrap opens his mouth. It's terrifying because you don't exactly notice theres a corpse inside the suit at first. While I do get your point, I believe Scott couldve executed it much better by tearing down the actual Springtrap suit more and showing the corpse inside it instead of giving small glimpses. But he opted to turn him into Jimmy Neutron.
Literally the best redesign for him hands down(I’d even say he’s slightly better than springtraps) One thing that I believe it gets right that not many other redesigns achieve is that it actually looks like Scott himself made it. It looks like his vision for what the design was supposed to be. Amazing work!
Just from seeing the title and before the thumbnail was loading I already assumed that it was going to be Scraptrap. Glad to know we all universally agree that it's the worst design in the game.
If the original 7 FNAF games ever get remastered, I hope we see a Scraptrap redesign similar to this. You did such a good job on it and it is absolutely terrifying.
i think your redesign is amazing, what i would personally emphasize on with scraptraps design (what pizzeria simulator failed spectacularly) is that he should be smaller than the rest of the animatronics especially his head since the springlock suit has crushed afton, so a "tight" design like the original with a smaller head really sells the fact that a man was turned into a jam in that suit
I love the fact that he has no eyes. If the original design didn't have eyes it already look infinitely better. Also the lack of eyes helps the corpse look more dead and unsettling.

@@weirdoss7 Maybe I am just nostalgic for ankle guts, but the whole growing body to adapt to the suit has always been my headcanon for Springtrap's weird guts XD
I cant believe I read this entire thing.
@@TailsSupremeYT Neither can I.
I LOVE how unsettling this looks but still captures what made spring trap so scary in the first place. Well done!!!!
this is great, but i feel like some things people would forget is that the suit was never specifically stated to have been designed with afton's dimensions in mind.
Very good edit!
not even bone, it's a mummfied head
I'm in love with the lack of eyes. Really reminds me of Rat from FNAC 1, which is still one of my fave animatronic designs.
this is absolutely breathtaking, especially in comparison to the scraptrap we got. everything about this design is incredible, and it really makes him feel old and rusted, while the mismatched coloration of the casing helps fulfill the "scrap" aspect of his design more so than the original did. you did a great job with this! not to mention your photo editing skills are seriously impressive. my only criticism with the design would be that the body proportions feel almost too lifelike compared to the more exaggerated size we see in a design like springtrap's, but honestly, that's only a flaw if you were to look at this as something that could potentially be in a fnaf game. without that context it's another trait that makes this design feel a lot better, and certainly a lot more grim than the original.
One of the best redesigns of scrap trap. Plus the explanation of why the suit is different is SO GOOD. It literally gives a new meaning to his name scraptrap. Scrap as in a scrapped design. Plus plush trap being designed off a prototype makes so much sense and is realistic
woahhh, i've never seen something like this before! most other speed edits are just poorly put together parts, this one actually looks like a 3d render! nice job!
I love how he said that he wouldn’t show us what image he used for the nose but at 5:10 he shows 2 heads of what we should not have seen.
Easily my favorite Scraptrap redesign I've seen! I love how you can still see hints of the original charred Springtrap suit underneath the more in-tact Springbonnie suit. Also, taking inspiration from Plushtrap is genius along with the in-lore explanation for it!
I like that he looks like a real corpse in a suit, and not like an iron pipe with wound fibers as in the original
I like how you can see the charred remains of the original springtrap suit under the new scraptrap one. The empty eyes are a nice touch too.
I think it be a cool mechanic that if you make noise with you flashlight, scraptrap would hear it since he has no eyes, and the only way to distract him is to play some type of sound to lead him away.
aw man i miss watching those speed photoshop fnaf animatronic edits as a kid bro...
3:18 THE MUSIC LOL! Fnaf 1 jumpscares remix
Incredibly good! I never thought of something like this, and your realism perfects everything!
Thank you I appreciate!
@@weirdoss7 No problem!
Thanks man! I appreciate it a lot!
"I took the nose from a picture I can't show you"
5:10 shows picture
The only thing wrong was the awful head proportion but yours gives a sense of "naturality" between the "imposible" which is a man still alive after being practically dismembered inside a sweaty ass suit 😂 great job!
9/10 amazing redesign, i like the idea that he is skull is so burned up since fire in Fazbear Fright at the end of FNAF 3, but his shape of the head should be same as springtrap from FNAF 3 and maybe costume should be more burned
But this head is definitely better than Jimmy Neutron's head from FNAF 6
This gotta be my favourite redesign of the character, not only it makes it even more lore accurate than the original, it has a lot of intricate details and design choices, that highlight the right parts. And the head shape choice was also a great addition, it sort of looks like a distorted prototype of more modern animatronics like Lefty. The two main color schemes of older and newer parts tells a story. And the lack of eyes makes the whole picture much more unsettling, knowing that instead of robotic eyes, you're staring into a rotten corpse's skull. Overall, great job with the redesign.
Attention to details this guy is the definition of a cook
I shall name this withered SpringTrap
Honestly, Scraptrap was INSANELY CONFUSING. I don't get why his skull is bigger than his actual head.
mega mind lookin ahh head
One thing I’m doing with the Springtrap equivalent for a fangame I’m making is that I plan out where the springlocks are in the suits of the fangame, then I design what a corpse with the holes in the correct places would look like, then I add a little bit of withering and decay, and only then do I add the endo and suit. It helps make a genuinely scary design and not another problem of the suit being modeled before the corpse, like what I assume happened with Scraptrap.
Damn this Is amazing, but i though it was going to be a 3D model, if someone made a 3D model of this masterpiece it would amazing!
I would this too
It's not a masterpiece in the slightest, stop kissing a fan's ass
It's been so long since I've seen this channel on my recommended! good to see it back!
Amazing! You always make special things! keep up the awesome work!! :D
Thanks man!
You cannot lie to me, I know a Necron when I see one! 0:55 Kill it, for the glory of the Imperium.
Part of my problem with the original design is that it looks too slim to a springlock suit, especially since the spring locks are supposed to push the suit parts to the sides of the suit.
its looks awesome bro 👍 maybe add a bit more color on the suit, its looks a bit too clean but overall great
I love it. This looks better than most of the stylised models
WWOW VERY VERY NICE. For me, I think all that was missing was removing the nose from the body, apart from that, it was perfect !!
i kinda feel bad for william, like i know what he did but god he doesn't deserve THIS
your right he deserves more were gonna cover him in paper cuts then make him bathe in hand sanitizer
Great redesign! 👍
0:43 Also, as soon as i heard the Five Nights with 39 theme i immediately got sent back to 2017 😭
Came for the art, stayed for the music, finished with a smile. 😊 ❤
its perfect i love it i have seen soooo many redesigns of this dude on reddit and youtube but yours is by far my new favorite now!
you're aboutta revolutionate the scraptrap redesign industry
Daaamn man! I appreciate ^^
This is the best, most realistic, creepiest version of Scraptrap I've ever seen. Great job.
I’m still using picsart because i don’t have a pc yet but your edits keep in inspiring me to get better at editing, also i am LOVING the edit so far it looks great
Edit: i just watched the whole video and it’s AMAZING i especially love the you made William look instead of looking like a peanut with flesh globs and bone ears you actually gave him a skull and the most importantly HE HAS NO FLESH GLOBS AND NO BONE EARS oh and he has a ribcage and rust and blood stains, anyways i LOVED the edit.
Keep going man! I didn't have a PC until I passed 4 years on TH-cam. Practice and practice, make sure you're better everyday.
@@weirdoss7 i’m getting better at edit thanks to you and many others amazing work and i have also have been drawing with a pencil and i would say that i use it as a base for my edits

yeah, and?
@@Mon-O-Chromethey look like full-on drawings!
@@archhierarchy3815 nah, I draw too, and even though we make fairly detailed drawings for some people, we still consider them unimportant sketches, lol
I never realized how ridiculously goofy his skull looked until you just look at it without anything else
I'd like to see his eyes. Come on, I generally love the original design of the Scraptrap. But if it is to be redone, then I would like the metal eyes to remain. Empty and lifeless silver eyes - if you play it right, it looks great.
9:06 but wasn’t that alrighty a agreed upon by everyone that scraptrap suit is scrapped prototype springbonnie in the backstage of fnaf 4?
No,because he isn't that suit, very damn obvious,it doesn't ever looks like him

This is so unsettling and I love it. This looks so cool.
i love this design, it's so much better than the original one. but the chest and upper jaw is too light imo. also i like the skull design, it's really looks rotten and i love the absence of eyes👀
a really solid redesing 9/10
I love this video the remake looks so much better now we need a remake of the game with this design
"The worst design in FNAF history."
FNAF movie's red eyes: "I guess you forgot about me."
Gosh i love how you just made the texture and design dude is so fire
Bro went from doing this stuff on a mobile device to becoming a god
Just having fun ^^
i love how you used a mixture of shading and texture to actually make the model look 3d-ish its amazing (also it may just be me but why does it look like williams scull is bigger than his head, and also why does he have sharp teeth???)
Anyone else hate the music he used
Me
I love how he did not put the green tone on the suit as if it was REALLY burnt.
0:09 JIM CARREY!!!! (My favorite actor!!!!)
The only thing I don't like about it is his hand. Other than that, it's perfect.
honestly i think springtrap should've looked like burntrap instead of scraptrap in fnaf 6
Ayy I remember you posting questions about this on the Freddit. Excellent job!!
My one gripe is the ears. I’d personally swap the placement of them to better match Springtrap from the 3rd game.
this looks so mush better. its shows that afton wasnt fully able to exit the old springbonnie suit and still is partially remaining on his body
Scraptrap/afton is meant to be more stripped down, because William needed to get rid of that suit. (it's the reason audio lures affected him)
this design looks more like a springtrap redesign rather than a redesign of scraptrap.
10:42 : perfection
But why afton is so goofy btw
Springtrap's design doesn't make it obvious that there's a human body trapped inside the suit. But it gives subtle hints like the eyes and Afton's real jaw when Springtrap opens his mouth. It's terrifying because you don't exactly notice theres a corpse inside the suit at first.
While I do get your point, I believe Scott couldve executed it much better by tearing down the actual Springtrap suit more and showing the corpse inside it instead of giving small glimpses. But he opted to turn him into Jimmy Neutron.
I love the fact that his corpse still retains some organs and flesh
I enjoyed the video and I like the way this edit turned out.
One small issue, Burntrap and Blob are the worst fnaf designs
I like the color sceem and how you redesigned him! Keep up the good work!
This is a really nice video. The art is really good. Your style reminds me a lot of kenshi, which is high praise.
Literally the best redesign for him hands down(I’d even say he’s slightly better than springtraps)
One thing that I believe it gets right that not many other redesigns achieve is that it actually looks like Scott himself made it. It looks like his vision for what the design was supposed to be. Amazing work!
10/10 I love how you made Springtrap becoming Scraptrap make sense and the sudden redesign of the suit make sense
Yay a new video by the best editor.
You made my favorite character look awesome
Thanks man!
Just from seeing the title and before the thumbnail was loading I already assumed that it was going to be Scraptrap. Glad to know we all universally agree that it's the worst design in the game.
If the original 7 FNAF games ever get remastered, I hope we see a Scraptrap redesign similar to this. You did such a good job on it and it is absolutely terrifying.
i think your redesign is amazing, what i would personally emphasize on with scraptraps design (what pizzeria simulator failed spectacularly) is that he should be smaller than the rest of the animatronics especially his head since the springlock suit has crushed afton, so a "tight" design like the original with a smaller head really sells the fact that a man was turned into a jam in that suit
i love how you can see some parts of the old springtrap and the new costume i also love what you did with the head
