He was 19 here!
+LeeLicious they werent there to see just him :|
+TheAlanakane wow black people age much better than whites
***** doubt it
***** Do you have any idea how long sperm lives?
+Kenny Lane no no you still are special :D
Seeing a Dace Chappelle skit you haven't seen is like seeing extra fries in the paper bag after you finish your meal.
Yup
😅😂👏
sam yemen lol
This is not a “skit”... It’s a “set”. A comedy set.
😂😭 rs
Dave Chappelle is looking like CJ before you take him to the gym
snailcore pistolwhippits probably comment of the week
Now, Dave looks like the thing that ate him.
#sananderas
Rather impish.
GROVE4LYFE
Even that young, he understood the element of timing in comedy.
Facts
That young? He'd been doing comedy for like 10 years by that time. Dude was born with a mic in his hand
he's only 20 here!
Lmao, anyone that makes it to tv as a comedian understands the timing in comedy. That's like saying a rookie in the NBA understands dribbling 😂
naturally funny people just automatically know how to do it
He's always been soooo good at tying in his joke from earlier into a later joke and you don't even see it coming!
True. It's what makes a stand up routine feel like a routine and not just a random selection of jokes. Basically all stand up comics do this, but Chappelle makes it seem so natural and effortless. Very rare talent.
It’s called a callback
Facts
his "killing them softly" special is my favorite. he has 3 or 4 of those call backs in it. hilarious. he's an amazing storyteller.
well yeah hes been doing this same 5 minutes for about 20 years. its much better now actually.
" I was hanging out in the black community, both those guys are great" lol
I dont get it
@@dawzrd2458 He's saying there's just two of them.
Edit: only two black guys.
Ya there were hardly ghettoized in Canada but they had to accept all backgrounds so Canada became a second U.S.
Idk if they do still but Canada had one of the toughest immigration laws in the world. You had to have zero criminal history to move there
@M.A Montreal
@@kennymichaelalanya7134 had? You mean it's not as strict anymore?
Dave and his buddy Dave lol.
Rollin'
Before he met his white friend Chip!
usaid alfatih lmao yeah I remember he talked about chip!
Chip doont do it !
Never realised his friend Dave has the same name as him. Wild
He's aged like fine wine, both the man and his acts. Don't get me wrong, this is not even half bad, but he just got so much better with the years.
he was experiencing another kind of ecstasy in that picture I think.
It's not a tribute to savile, more a tribute to The Gasman and this video
/watch?v=sH_dZqXB-jY
hey TM
Shame he smokes cigarettes
waddup Shabaloo
He actually perfected this act towards the end of it's run...he used it for about 2 years, and his performance of it at Chuckles was perfect..he removed the long pauses, and fine tuned the vocab and physical parts..too bad they no longer have it here on youtube I just checked, they did about a year ago though
this kid is good, he looks like a young Dave Chapelle
😂😂🤣
j Smith I really pray your being sarcastic 🙏
j Smith are you still being funny cuss I don’t wanna be r/slash whooooshed
IRON 2 THE RESCUE yeah he’s joking. The “I’m not racist smh” thing made it obvious
I once killed A man with my shoe ok thx for telling me and not say r/whoosh
2:50 the look on his face when he jumbles his words, then carries on like nothing happened. Nailed it!!!!😂😂
"Robin"
"Yes, Batman"
"Didn't we park the car right here man?" .
Mithilesh Palegar that shit was funny lol
Mithilesh Palegar 😂😂😂
Mithilesh Palegar I shit you not, exactly as he said that is exactly when I read your comment
@@theCAPOSHOW me too. 😂
his delivery was amazing
his delivery has progressed so much! A lot of the same techniques, just improved over the years.
Is there some place i can learn this techniques?
@@guntersamy look into the timing of a delivery to jokes.
@@chickendippers2937 is there a place where i can learn this timings?
How his punchline comes back and still make you laugh again is GOLD!
He's really developed his style over the years.
I hope so, after 36 years,
He's more philosophical now, bit like George Carlin
"Didn't we park the car right here man" lmao priceless
He'll never make it...
LMAOOO
Lmfaooooo he already did u must not know who this is?????
Just trollin
Adam Vanderpluym ur.. Ur a fuckin idiot.

Dude I almost pissed myself. Did not see that coming!
Idk this is 3 yo but man this killed me
Did you ever hear the one about the two black guys at the Pearly Gates? Hilarious.
@@CSUnger lmaoooo two black guys at the pearly gates. Now that's hilarious!
"Did not see that coming"
neither did Batman!
it takes a really smart man like dave to be that funny so early on.
Legendary debut
Yeah damn I was eating glue at 19
Very true...🎭
He’s been doing this justice since the start. Dahm Dave a legend.
I have been binge watching Dave since his sticks and stones
j drizal omg same lol
You must be a deplorable racist! The "worst kind of white person !"
@@mattzablocki are you serious?
@@hhhfdsfs no lmao I'm not. But that's what the left is saying about anyone who enjoyed it. It's fucked up.
Dido
Eerily prophetic joke about everyone carrying video cameras around.
they had camcorders and airport security back then, was just stating the obvious lol
+Dev n Nothing like the ones available today, most notably on cellphones. The camcorders from the early 90's were huge, you couldn't just whip one out and start filming discreetly.
+Dev n Kids today think the 90s was like the stone age smh lol
Prophetic? He was just commentating current events, hence the Rodney King mention..
fiddlestyxify I wrote a blog about that as well as other tech stuff
His routine was so structured here. Love how he got so smooth after so many years.
young dave killin it in this video and 10 years later!
Brandon Lake *20
+sma94 I think he meant th2 set in the year 2000, which is still only 7 years later..
Okie, whoops. Sorry Brandon man.
+Brandon Lake Actually idiot it is 25 years later..
James James Ok, now I have to make you look stupid too, can you not read? Dave did a second set in the year 2000
This kid might make something out of himself one day.
I heard his inspiration is David Chappelle, a good choice.
Sandra Jones I don’t really see the influence tbh
Hmmm. I don't know if he's got what it takes. Maybe he needs to meet some celebrities that can boost his reputation. I'm thinking maybe it would be of benefit if he could meet OJ Simpson. If not at least someday it would make an entertaining story.
“Didn’t we park the car right here?” 😂
Pretty sure the day Dave was born, he had the whole operating room rollin on the floor.
+Jeremy Winter def had his mom kickin' and screamin'
He did. Didn't you see the Dave Chappelle written by Dave Chappelle sketch? "That's one funny ass kid". Lol.

Jeremy Winter “operating room”?? 😂😂😂

Looks like a young Tyrone biggums.
Lol
Before he met crack, his one true love.
Sounds legit XD
Is this the free crack gave away!
"One thing you may not know about me Joe Rogan. I smoke rocks."
2:09 "[..] always carry a CAMCORDER with us", this had been before cell phone cameras, LOL.
The Rodney King beating was captured on video in 1990. That changed the game.
This man has so much potential, I hope he makes it in show business.
1993 and the same issues are even more prevalent today.
If you say so
You sound like a 7 yr old girl
+Carnageloser7 Can you relate?
+Carnageloser7 Can you relate?
not really
And what were you all doing at 19?? Everyone's a critic smh.
I M so?
Tokyo Ghoul 😑 doesn't take much talent or skill.
I M in my case, masturbating
i got my freedom back round 19😥
Why does everyone come to that argument? "Oh, why don't you do it?" "What were you doing at that age?"
Shut the fuck up. People are interested in different things and had different opportunities. Your argument is fucking pointless.
Wow, I never saw him in stand up from that long ago. You can just see the genius in the making!
innertubez yea he was ahead of his time and every comedian just overlooked
innertubez Yeah it's good, he'd been at it for around 4 years before this. Dave is the shit.
look him up on def comedy jam, thats the performance that made me remeber his name. Damn, that just made me realize im old.
Because that is before this and i remember it clearly.
He talks about the origin of the word nigga, frickin classic.
*This man has been doing stand up longer than I've been alive and that amazes me*
Even though this was the weakest skit I’ve seen from him it’s still better than 90% of the people in the game today
I agree that it isn’t all that great and I’m glad someone isn’t sugar coating it. He’s the best comedian in my opinion but it took time for him to refine his act up from sets like this.
yeah but also keep in mind this is the 90s as well
How the hell did I just now find this after watching Dave for the last 10 years?
few years later this man becomes a legend
Ten years later
James Tarsco have you watched the latest special?
He looks like he can be in jodeci
Ruben Dominguez lol. I always thought Eddie Griffin and save looked like k-ci
Ruben Dominguez he looked like Kci back then, now he looks like JoJo. Not lying check out side by side pics . It's crazy
Ruben Dominguez 🤣😂
Ruben Dominguez yeaaaa lmaoooo K-Ci😂😂😂😂😂😂
That's what I was thinking the way he wears his hat matching his jacket
Genius in the making!!! Big Ups to Dave Chaplle
I'm 27 years old. Dave Chapelle is by far the greatest comedian of my generation. In my humble opinion of course
Damn he really evolved
Telling the future camcorders stop police brutality
No they don't. Why else would we have so many videos of pointless police shootings?
because back then people didn't have HD camcorders in their fucking back pockets. Only rich people in the burbs had them because they were so big and expensive. This is coming from a black woman, stop being such a sheep to the main stream media that is out to get ratings and divide us. The world is more peaceful now than it has ever been, statistics show that as a FACT, so you can bet your bottom dollar that like that previous commenter "John Smith" said, police brutality and racial profiling is way WAY less of an issue than it used to be when this sketch aired. The news is gonna show what gets people to watch the news, that's what makes them money, viewers, they go out of business without them, so of course every station is gonna air it over and over when one racist police officer goes haywire. Nobody would rather watch fucking kitties being rescued from trees or something else comparably boring and/or positive. Violence and conflict is what gets us interested and tuning in. It's human nature.
The vast majority of police officers are following the rules and doing their job trying to keep people safe... it is a mistake to think that just because you see something happening in the news more often, that it is happening in the world more often, that is simply untrue. If everyone had such easy access to a camcorder 25 years ago as they did today....there would be a hell of a lot more than 5 mother's on Beyonce's stage.
I'm not saying there isn't a problem, however it is my opinion that it is a FAR smaller of an issue than the media and politicians make it out to be. I know when I have kids, I certainly wont be losing sleep over shit like that.
Hulk Thecredible they are all investigations now it used to always be kept hidden in public documents. U prob watch fox news
No, talking about Rodney King, that was a current event back then.
And it's still current a year after your comment... see the issue here?
didn't we park the car right here Lmao
He had so much raw talent even here who knew he would reach the pinnacle we all currently know he eclipsed
This is a year after I was born. Yet Chappelle has always remained to be my favorite comedian.
The irony of the recording law enforcement segment. These issues have been around forever.
Brian Glaze Thanks.
Haven't gotten any better yet sadly.
Lovisa ivarson exactly! It’s amazing that people are starting to see it
And still goin on in 2020
Yeah! Now it’s almost like we get to watch that show COPS only it’s real!…!?
Still had the amazing timing even that early on.
Lol at that airport joke. Canada and pre 9/11. Pull that shit these days and you're not going to be around to tell the joke.
Dave is the King of call back jokes😂🤣😂🤣😂
That last punch line knocked the socks off my feet! Holy crud! That was legitness!!! 🤣
One of my favourite comedians of all time, much love for Dave Chappelle ✌❤
its kinda nice knowing dave developed so much over time you can definitely see it with his wonder woman joke as he said it years later on a more popular stand up of his but it was used so much more flawlessly. seriously dave was good in this but now adays he is legendary.
This kid will be awarded the mark Twain prize one day
That whole video, makes me nostalgic about the early 90s
Even the racial tension was better back then.
Did anyone notice he messed up at 2:48 and just played it off. 😂
The audio skipped that's all. Lol listened to this years ago, he does say the word 'existed'.
Lol his face had me going. 😂
You're the one that messed up.
If he did mess up, that’s the sign of a pro
Jeff Sylvain what was he suppose to do apologize and leave the stage?? Lmao
ah yes, his zoom zoom in your boom boom phase
Bre Fujimoto uh oh. Stop. Hammer time.
Is all i wanna do Bre. Or.. make love untill we both wake up ;)
Bre Fujimoto I loved that skit lol
It's not boom boom it's poom poom. "Rump Shaker" Wreck-N-Effect.
LMAO
Such a great guy. These jokes are relevant even today lol
I like the card at the end advertising "Carey Drew" and Neal Brennan
This young guy will make it big one day.
Wow you dontt say😂😂
Te Reo Y’all don’t understand sarcasm lol
No he doesnt i am from the future...He son Kevin Hart will be the most respected comedian on earth
"Didn't we park the car right here man?!"
Young Dave Chappelle really sounds like Chris Rock. I'm guessing the cigarettes changed his voice
Wtf? He's sounds the same. He just aged. It's really simple
Gonna have to disagree there. The smokes definitely messed with his voice.
Oh yeah you reminded me I forgot to respond to this guy. Well your response covered what I wanted to say. He definately does not sound the same, and its not cause he aged.
Definitely made his voice more coarse. He sounds pretty bad in 2020.
I don’t know if it can be blamed on cigarettes seeing how dave also got buffed and put on muscles. Maybe it had something to do with an increase in testosterone.
I can't believe this was 27 years ago.
We need new Dave Chapelle content in 2017
He's coming back with new stand up in 2017
Brandons Opinion lol you're cute but like a woman march you're happy ass out of here.
Eric Campbell soon on netflix
your wish was granted
Dave Chapelle is theeeeee GOAT period
Got the Same comedic timing since the 90s and still going strong 😂
"Never met your idol, unless it's Dave Chappelle"
“Look at my eyes, Roll em” Kevin got that joke from Dave
He improved so much. Granted, he was still a teenager here. But it just goes to show how much you can improve at something if you're passionate about it and never give up.
"...didn't we park the car right here, man?" My god my gut busted on that one
Dave, I guess, knew from an early age that bringing his act full
Circle at the end is what made him special, and he’s done it ever since
1993: but my buddy Dave had the camera rolling
2020: police shoot and kill people and the camera guy well the cameras rolling.
and then the cops walk anyway
He'll never make it...
Canada has been a start for much comedy greatness.
A legend in the making
Robin... Didn't we park the car right here? That one got me laughing like crazy!
By far one of the top 10 best comedians of all time
When he's being funny, his jokes carry laughs, and when he's being serious, his words carry weight!
to see the look on his face when he found out about smart phones recording videos lol
Anyone else notice he slipped up at the beginning of the superhero bit. His face was priceless!! He recovered very nicely though. And all those white peeps in the early 90's. This was a true sign of what this guy was gonna be. Bravo to one of the best.
I think the audio on the mic cut out a little
I didn't even notice
He said “existed”, but the mic cut out.
Not a slip up on his part, mic actually cut out, you can see he was still talking.
Old school Chappelle, absolutely phenomenal, I was one of his biggest fans, Men in Tights, Half baked, the best
he is the only comic i legit laugh out loud at his jokes. anyone else might just get a chuckle. i love how he tells stories. dave will always be king of comedy imo.
Yoo he looks like Ryder from GTA San Andreas
But my buddy Dave had the camera rolling 🤣🤣🤣🔥👌
Looks like they did that Wonder Woman joke in Justice League with Aqua Man.
Lol!
And he Aquaman was SITTING on the lasso, not even lassoed
Damn it’s weird seeing Dave as essentially a kid crazy
"Didn't we park the car right here"😂😂
Wow I didn’t realize Chappelle was doing comedy before I was even born (1995)!
He was doing it before he was even a legal adult at 15... he was 20 years old here.
The Batman story is killing me over and over again.
That crowd was cheeks.
Dave Chappell is a comedic genius. Love him
Chappelle is like a Kung fu master and this is a video of his first days at Shaolin.
it's crazy how much this relates to today
he's mad fuckin brolic twenty plus years later. I miss you Dave😔😎
What miss him he's coming out with three more
Wish I was that cool when I was 19, he had such good understanding of his side of the world at that age.
Must have been tough too..
his evolution as a comedian is wild. greatest comedian ever.
Man, times were different. He was a pioneer.
Dam, it's about time someone said this
You can tell he was still figuring it out once the 2000s hit he got it all together
"Robbin"
"Yes batman"
"Didnt we park the car here"
Lmao🤣🤣
no one knew this guy will make "Killin' Them Softly" one day 😂
“ I hated to do it but u understanding “ 😂
This guy is funny, I think one day he’ll be bigger than Kevin Hart
right now this Dave guy is some no name that's drifting, maybe he'll become recognized one day😎😎
Most people are bigger than Kevin Hart
skachor lmao underrated comment fasho 😂😂
@@skachor bitch! I came as fast as I could to make the same joke lol
