So, as a leftie myself, I totally noticed how you skipped right on over doing your left hand 😢 I get it, I really do; I just also really love seeing other techs struggle with their dominant hand because in all honesty, I’m a terrible person. But (!) I adore how these came out and I’m so bummed I missed out on the nail expo. On the plus side, though, I graduated school that Saturday, and just got licensed two days ago, so I will most likely be able to go to the expo next year.

no don’t worry about it! So i mean.. you caaaaan go in without roughing it up, but you might risk the gel peeling or lifting from the tip! Mainly because gel doesn’t like shiny smooth surfaces, it needs a matte surface to almost latch on to properly like Velcro!

One coat looked the most natural
Before applying the gelip, do you wipe off the inhibition layer of the base coat on the natural nail? Or can you go straight in? Thank you!
