I like what you said about a fragrance being harmoniously blended that it can seem simplistic but can be complex at the same time. I like a smooth blend where individual notes aren't discernible, trying to figure it out keeps me intrigued. I can get tired of smelling only a few notes after the drydown of some fragrances.
Excellent review as always, like you never had a break,
    Thanks, Peter

To me, perfumery is done at its highest level when the notes start to break down and you feel the intention and emotion of the perfumer, kind of like when you feel the raw emotion of the composer through an orchestra.

Excellent review! I get the simple but complex because it is so well blended, the Oud will come out in the long dry down, Crime & Punishment reminds me of Iris Noir, quite Heavenly! I can't wait to try this present version. Cheers Peter!

I got a whole bottle of the EDP version I don't really use. Anybody want it, I'll let it go for less than the $430 I paid for it or I'll trade for it as well.

Glad it works! This one is the Extrait so it's a bit heavier

If it was in music terms it would be George Benson or Joe satriani or Steve vai have been inspired by jeff beck.xxx

@@FragranceView love jeff becks work. He delivers such soulful clarity without playing millions of notes per minute, and only uses very few basic effects, mainly consisting of utilising the volume, + tone pots,+ tremolo. How you described ensars work could be quite similar.
