The latest version of Irish Ghalia (version 4) is the best version I believe, with powered up leathery facet! One of the best perfume I sniffed for sure!!
I just got a sample of Tigerlust today - I agree with you on all points, it's animalic but smooth (I get a camphorous effect with the leather early to midway through this stuff) but I agree the stuff is just too pricey. Sealed Essence is selling a 30mL bottle right now for $625, yikes. However I would pay $200 for a 9.5mL. Really Adam of Ensar needs to sell smaller bottles of his stuff if he's really going to charge $20/mL. I also sampled his Jamaican Ambergris which I thought was a burnt rubber mess, just my opinion of course.
The last 4ml left in my tester is so precious to me and I don't need a full bottle, but it's on my want list for sure.... however i'm going for the new Areej oud set, so i'll be eating just oats for the next year not buying other bottles 🤣
Because I missed out on the Areej oud set and Tigerlust is discontinued... I've used the funds to blind purchase the new tweeked batch of EO1 and the new EO4 (cola oud) leather editions... wish me luck! 😬🤣
As per animalic Oud, Tigerwood PP is the most animalic one from Ensar! Smokey dark Oud! A real treat for the hardcore Oud lovers! Another one is Black Chango PP, amazing combination of bombastic Oud and patchouli....These two are must try!! Bro if your favourite combination is leather and Irish, then Ensar's Irish Ghalia PP (the current edition) is a must must try/ have! Really the end game of Irish+Leather genre! I saw people purchasing multiple backups of Irish Ghalia PP, a perfume which cost $599 USD for a 30ml bottle! One of the most famous and extremely popular creation of Ensar!!
Well the prices on the new new ALD collection are on ensar level per ml. And as a poor person it makes me sad:( gonna buy the cheapest one because thats all I can aford and justify :D

That first reform of Bel Ami is amazing. Like they polished off all the rough edges. They could charge Roja prices for that and I’d still buy it. Not so much the new one which is citrus heavy and the leather (my favorite part) has been toned down. Never tried an Ensar. Price point is ridiculous especially given Bortnikoff and Areej le Dore, like you said.
How did you eventually get on with Oud Taiwan after the Beef Jerky experience? I really didn’t like it at first as I’d never experienced anything quite like it before. I have now grown to love its total uniqueness & its addictive quality. Am I right in thinking that this is the Only Taiwanese Oud on the Market?
Your British clone aka Persolaise hasn’t revived anything from Areej so far. I really like his reviews but he’s missing so much by sticking to the mainstream
Awesome scent for sure Rams and yes if Oud is soaked in open pots the bacteria gets in and it’s actually the same bacteria that gives the barnyard smell off the cattle dung after day or so sealed soaking and distillation keeps the Oud clean and purer but god bless the open method lol 😂🙏✌️👍
I want to pull the trigger on an Ensar, but my brain keeps taking me out of it. Even the 9ml travels are $299 or more. I will prioritize a couple eventually. More superb content per the usual. SOTN for me is Salome. It’s just majestic on my skin to my nose.
Anything from Papillon is majestic .... as good as this is I wouldnt spend 300 on 9.5 ml ... even if the $ was no object its the principal of the matter at that point 😂😂
