  • Hello again world. I recorded my nighttime routine while using disclosing tablets. These show you where plaque and bacteria are on your teeth. We usually only give them to children, but any one can benefit from using them.
    Here is the brand I used

    Thank you so much for your videos. You’re super detailed and I’m satisfied with how honest you are about certain techniques and others you don’t care about😂😂❤️

    Any suggestions for floss for implants? They always suggest glide. I use cocofloss for the rest but it just doesn’t work on my impants. Thanks for all the helpful tips, you introduced me to boka and I LOVE!

      I would use the coco on your implant or get the Dr. Tungs on Amazon. Wrap it around and floss. Or use the waterpik around it. I never use glide. Always coco around my implant

    Do you recommend the waterpik whitening tablets? I was going to try them but not sure if I should.

      They still have them. They will help with stain on the outside of your teeth. Nothing internal. Suggestion for external stain, brush twice daily for a full two minutes. Waterpik, floss if needed. Stop using mouthwash. It causes stain. Can be heavy. Look at lifestyle, smoker? Wine drinker? Tea drinker? These will cause the most external stain on your teeth. 😷

      I use mine on an 8. No need to be at 10. But if you prefer it, go for it. 8 is 👌🏼

    • @holistichygiene
      @holistichygiene  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it has benefits. It is said to work on the cellular level. It is dole thing that does not hurt to use in conjunction with regular dental care.

      What do you mean it can’t take what’s between the teeth?

      @@holistichygiene You said in the video, even after using waterpik you need to floss to take out stuck food debris.

    • @holistichygiene
      @holistichygiene  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I found I need to floss to remove the smallest amount of plaque left over. Not food debris. The tiniest amount of plaque can cause decay, gingivitis, and periodontitis. It’s all bacteria. Bacteria is the root of all disease in our mouthes. This was a learning moment for me while using the disclosing tablets. Do I floss everyday still, no. I rely on the waterpik. But I always carry floss picks where ever I go.

      @@holistichygieneSince plaque tends to turn into calculus after 48 hours would it be good to floss 3 times a week?

    • @holistichygiene

      Yes, flossing 3 times a week consistently helps a ton! Along with daily use of the waterpik
