This is what I needed to hear. We have been bombarded with the information and notions saying that go out and travel and try different things to find out what you want. Partially it is true but one has to find the sweet spot and not get swayed away to find the more experiences. I made my life miserable by going out and travelling and doing stuff. Finally when I was tired I started to take some sensible decisions and my life is now slowly getting aligned. Slowly but surely.

I felt like this message was meant for me. I'm 38 and recently discovered a love of learning piano. I was questioning myself yesterday, "Should I really delve into this new passion? Should I invest the time and money?" And here your example is piano. Go deep and narrow. Those are words I'm going to hold onto.

Good for you! Once you buy a musical instrument it will pay for itself many times over as the years pass. Don't worry about being a superstar; learn, practice, play, and enjoy the growth and satisfaction that comes with it. Too many people cut themselves off from learning music because they think it's only for certain people, but it's open to anyone who's willing to learn. Good luck with it 👏

I'm teaching piano! Come be my student! If you don't live in England it's worth flying here once a week for a lesson. Nah just kidding! I am teaching piano though. I only have four students and they are all adults like you!
I really hope they love it too

Thank you for the great advice. I am struggling to find passion in anything and have never really known what I want to do with my life. Having a family was my main goal, now my children are grown and I ended my toxic marriage and feel lost on what to do with my life.💙🙏💙

Well yes, but this assumes that person already has something he / she's passionate about.
There are a lot of people out there who don't really have that kind of passion or are confused about it.
For them, year of accumulating experiences which might clarify that passion could in fact be beneficial.
But yes, if you already have something you're somewhat passionate about, this approach is certainly great.

Primary Education is meant for having an exposure to different subjects and activities.
Children aren’t Mature enough to reflect on their actions and choose their passions. Children naturally pursue their interests.
It’s the Parents duty to identify their kids interests and nudge them along that direction. Most parents force their will on kids, which creates the real dilemma later on.

I dont believe everything gets "thrown" into your subconscious mind. I believe we have a sort of a "Filing System" for everything that enters our subconscious mind. That filing system gets organized by our emotions. When we have an experience, we also attach an emotion to it. Some emotions are stronger than others. Thats why we forget a lot of things and its also the reason why we remember important things such as weddings, funerals, and certain birthdays. Experiences with stronger emotions attached can be easily retrieved than experiences with less emotions. Be well everyone! 🌿

Well, to find a passion we have to follow our curiosity and try different things
But I agree about the overconsumption of information, it makes us totally lost and passive...
Pick one thing that attracts you and try it out actively. :)

Probably you must practice techniques to increase your concentration. There is one best technique in Yog known as 'Trataka' which will help you to build up your concentration. Or else you can find whatever suits you the best to keep your focus steady, like that you will be able to complete your daily goals/ tasks one by one instead of trying to achieve them all at once and being overwhelmed by them. Good Luck 😊

Try different things and narrow down your experience, thoughts and feelings. you can find it from there.
If you are unable to find it. Explore how to be satisfied in what you are doing right now.
