Insanely Aggressive Nakhmanson Gambit

  • The Nakhmanson Gambit is a very fun and aggressive opening where white sacrifices a knight and a bishop for a devastating attack on the black king.
    It starts with the moves:
    1.e4 e5
    2.Nf3 Nc6
    3.Bc4 Nf6
    4.d4 exd4
    5.O-O Nxe4
    6.Nc3

@@matthiasernst8633 it doesn't matter, just bring the rook to e1 and stockfish evaluates the position as equal but that's only if black plays perfectly. And more times than not, black will make some stupid blunder because there are so many threats

Falling into this trap looks absolutely devastating. It’s like your constantly flipping off your opponent in every move. I could see the white king metamorphose into a middle finger.

It would be great with a declined line. However if u take a look at the tutorial of "the black lion" by Ginger GM. There is a step by step strategy explanation which leads to a much greater understanding. For example consolidating moves, profylactic moves, staying low. If you only get lines to memorize you actually dont understand the game. Now some gambit openings are so wild that you throw strategic thinking overboard. Now this is all good and well if it is mentioned in the tutorial. The black line (lion) has a closed center no castling approach which is very peculiar to many opponents. This aggressive gambit is great and I am going to try it out. Knowing it stems from the Italian game I will of course pay attention to see if there is the opportunity to go into the Evans, the Helloween (as you taught me, much obliged) or the Urusov. Having these three up your sleeve returns the game to more solid chessplaying than just having remembered 20 different lines in the N. Gambit. Anyway great upload! Thx! Once again much obliged!
