    I developed this exact opening on my own very recently, I didn't know there was a name for it. This single opening has really helped me fight my way from 800 to 930 in blitz games. I would say this opening works 60% of the time, everytime.

    I’m pretty new to chess and don’t really know any openings. Two days ago I played a game and this was my opponent’s opening. I didn’t really understand what they were aiming for, but he ended up too focused on what he was doing and didn’t seem to know to to respond when I threatened his queen

    Eric, If black goes and captures the bishop, queen takes rook check, bishop to block check, queen takes bishop checkmate!

    I believe the idea "if c3 then d5" holds up here. Easy way to avoid the Ponziani traps, and no real need to study this line further as black.

    i first watch this video a month ago. after trying many games and failing each times to reproduce it, went back to the video again to realize i was not even doing the correct moves 😅 now I know !!
