1963 I bought an Olds 88 303 engine and a B&M Hydrostick trans. Using an adapter plate from the J.C. Whitney catalog and installed them with a high RPM stall speed Torque Converter from a local trans shop into my 1946 Dodge Business Coupe. It was a hit at the local drags. BTW the 65 Olds Rocket had a 425 pushing over 300 H.P. stock. I dig the build, Chris. Thanks for doing this AND sharing...
Lolhahaha, I have mad respect for the whole community of competition. The Fords and Mopar. Chevys wouldn't be any fun with out them....😂. Seriously I do respect all American cars and trucks. Not just my Chevys. Really love going to classic car shows just to see them all. But the way you said that makes it funny bud.
Chris I always enjoy your reviews and builds. I really like that sometimes you weather them. And you always give your honest opinion. Also the background music is just a topper, simply relaxing.
BTW - A fun Oldsmobile movie stars Burt Reynolds in "W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings". Loosely based on a true story about a post WWII Vet turned into a Robin Hood type. Lotta Olds action and funny moments.
believe the unidentified part may be the custom center console from the original annual kit---also think the motor may be the 425 cu in as it seems to be the motor of choice for the big Olds
The optional, extra-cost engine for the ‘65 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 was the 425 cu. in., 370 hp, 470 lb. ft. of torque ‘Starfire’ V-8 with 10.5:1 compression.

Very nice work on this one. Those models are a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
The model came together great. I like the red that you used, looks sharp. Looks like I will have to pick one up. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for another great build. Always enjoy your videos..
Outstanding work on that Olds Stocker! She came out sweet! Great color choices!
Based on gestalt, that looks like an Oldsmobile V8- I believe they used the same block for all displacement engines... (I'm a Mopar guy, be nice!)

looks like u can build that one stock too.....cool build as always....
Great build mate👍
Great build Chris. I will have to add the Olds to my modified collection! 😊
Awesome build 👍🏻🔥🤘🏻
Very nice video build thank you
A 425 Super Rocket would be my guess, it was the most common engine used for racing back in the old days.
Like those modified
Awesome build
In 65 Olds produced a 330, 400 and a 425. The 442 had the 400, the Cutlass had a 330, and the full-size cars had the 425.
Awesome
Happy Thanksgiving Mr Chris I'm excited to see Your Projects for 2025

As far as the motor goes It's either 394-430
I second that this Olds most likely has a 425 Super Rocket big block-1965 was the first year for the 425 Olds big block.
425 Cubic Inch Chris
do you clear coat before or after decals ?
After the entire car is done, decals and trim.
Most definitely an olds engine. I see people saying 425 but they would be hard to get, 394 would be easy to get. None of that matters on a model.
I want one
it would have a 425 rocket v8
If its a dynamic 88 the engine size would be 425 cubic inches
That is the Oldsmobile Rocket motor
Oh Yah
I think it would be a 400 or 425
or an Olds 88 rocket
