I have an old mid war produced kar 98K As well as a Argentinian Mauser 1909, the action is much more refined and is much smoother on the Argentinian Mauser when compared to the 98K.
Not a Argentine cavalry carbine nose cap at 1:48. I have a mint condition original and it's totally different. That's a hacksaw Bubba job you're showing.
Every time I see some mess up or hesitant when cycling the bolt of bolt action rifles I think, ah they are a Lee-Enfield men! Well with everyone I know who shoots Enfields, this is the joke because of how short the turn of the bolt is.
You guys need to make a correction video. The 1909 mauser GERMAN MADE. DWM. Many years later the Argentionans would make there own but those are marked totally different.
@@harpoonman234 exactly, Argentina actually took the belgian trials into consideration. Although the modifications were ver warranted since Belgium would also modify them later on.
This is the most elegant Mauser design in my opinion.

How does this channel not have more views and comments is beyond me. Thank you for the uploads
Because it is a bit sloppy with history most likely.
Going in a few days to trade a pal for one of these. I want it simply for the history. Came here to hype myself up. Not disappointed.
I have one of these that is marked .30 where the crest was. It is chambered for 30-06. Very smooth action and quite accurate.
The 1909 Argentine Mausers were a modified model 1898, not 1891.
Yes, the guy in glasses said it correctly unlike the first one.
Lots of details off in this video.

Löwe is lot pronounced like the store lowes, the w sounds more like a v. I cringed so hard when you guys said that.
Not all 1909 Argentine Mausers were made in Argentina... Infact most 1909 were made in Germany.
Exactly, this video is way off about 1909 mauser. Not only are they German made, but they are one of the best mausers ever made!
@@vincenttschida8849 I totally agree... I own a 1909 mountain carbine and it's my favorite rifle.

What's the difference between this 7.65 cartridge and the 1889 Belgian 7.65 cartridge?
There isn't, the 7.65x53 was initially used in the 1889 belgian pattern rifles before argentina adopted the slightly modified 1891 model

Um you guys just glossed over all the German made 1909 mausers? Wtf so much misinformation.
Watching that dude work the bolt was cringe worthy.
LOT of misinformation in this channel!!!
