I CAN NOT WAIT! To build my F5 mini. I do agree. It is a personal preference. I’d still like to try kiss for my self. A good tuned BF quad flys just as good a kiss. Id exactly what I hear. Killer rip bro. I chicken out of trippys. I still have no balls to try them out of the SIM. Lol
The simplicity of kiss is what's got me hooked. Set up time and getting a locked in quad with minimal effort is what's making me slowly switch. When it comes to trippys you gotta find some stadium lights and just send it! Lol.
I have a lot of quads and I have switched 4 of my Quadmulas and 2 Vannystyle over to KISS ULTRA V2 and that's all I fly. Like you said, preset and send.......
With betaflight, I spent 99percent of my time looking at logs, trying to chase ghost. Now I fly 99% of the time. Haven't looked at a log in over 2 years. Kiss Ultra ftw 🎉
My personal experience wa tracking is noticeably better with kiss. I converted all my remaining betaflight quads to quicksilver. It also tunes and tracks better, but kiss ultra is the king.
I move sliders back and forth until it stops making weird noises. Then I send a BBL to someone who is actually smart. We are basically aerospace engineers now
I thought that too. But every time I've looked on pyrodrone they have them. I was told the "always out of stock issue" isn't an issue anymore. I just checked to see right now. Seems like they are in stock as of me typing this and the last two months. It 100% was a big issue for a long time. When they showed up in stock they sold out fast. But now they are available and seem to be staying that way.

A highly tuned BF quad flies amazing. A default configured kiss ultra V2 quad flies amazing. That's the difference. You just get to start flying.

Curious what version of betaflight? I have never once done any tuning except for some presets.

Bf cheat.... default pid and filter and just tweak dynamic notch filters then adjust pids as needed with the sliders. Thank me later.
The supafly preset and some minor adjustments worked well for me. If you switch to a KISS FC do you go through a different program than betaflight?
@@tjtaylor364 tuning concept is the same but no sliders like bf. The presets are very good with a little tweaking but most can just use the presets.
