I completely agree as I share the same! I think most of the lineup changes were pretty good although I would've obviously always preferred the original lineup and can only imagine the material that they would've made. They had a lot of bad luck that kept getting in their way and setting them back. I also miss Andols H and would've loved to have witnessed his progression to the top.

I like this drummer. Hes interesting to watch lol. I'm legit pissed at myself for not being more supportive of these guys towards the end. A lot of things were happening for me at the time this album released and I didn't give it it's due. I've loved these guys (previous lineup's) from the beginning and unfortunately was distracted when this album came out. I absolutely love this song.
Seen them in 04' at Tower City amphitheater with my best friend from high school, 40 below opened, fear factory played, slipknot was headliner but Chimaira stole the show. The show stopped for about 10 minutes because the pit was so out of hand that the barriers between the pit and the stage was broke down, and they had to put it back up before they began to play again. Best show I've ever seen. Even Slipknot headlining didnt get as much energy as chimaira in the homeland. 216 baby...we tore shit up that day. come back chimaira...lets burn the world down together.
I loved reading this comment. I saw them at a Mayhem Festival and the entire crowd was so excited that Chimaira was playing that I remember like it was yesterday that Mark looked at his other band members(mid song) and I could clearly make out him saying "wow" as in they were amazed at how people were receiving them and the energy of the crowd. Damn do i miss the hell out of that time period.

This is awesome! Crown of Phantoms was the album that I like from top to bottom. Tried many times to get into these guys with Resurrection, but didn't like the whole album as much as this one. Good work! Truly awesome album guys!

I have a list of many bands that I consider my favorites. Even being disbanded chimaira is still on that Mount Rushmore list for me. As far as vocalists go I'd have to give it to Mark Hunter as my favorite of all time. Even as the banned got older and changed their sound and the difference in his voice it was always unique. Pass out of existence he had a very unique scream and growl. I really can't make a decision on which album I enjoyed him the most on because in my opinion he was always top notch in each one even with the more melodic and singing vocals like on the age of hell and impossibility of reason it sounds led perfect. Chimairas work will never get old to me.

I miss this band almost as much as I miss Pantera. Thats says something.
I completely agree as I share the same! I think most of the lineup changes were pretty good although I would've obviously always preferred the original lineup and can only imagine the material that they would've made. They had a lot of bad luck that kept getting in their way and setting them back. I also miss Andols H and would've loved to have witnessed his progression to the top.
I know right? I regret never seeing Pantera live when the band was still together, but at least I got to see Chimaira for one show. They were incredible.🤘

It's got a nice slow vibe that most songs lack these days. Gives it sort of a classic feel.

I like this drummer. Hes interesting to watch lol. I'm legit pissed at myself for not being more supportive of these guys towards the end. A lot of things were happening for me at the time this album released and I didn't give it it's due. I've loved these guys (previous lineup's) from the beginning and unfortunately was distracted when this album came out. I absolutely love this song.

Seen them in 04' at Tower City amphitheater with my best friend from high school, 40 below opened, fear factory played, slipknot was headliner but Chimaira stole the show. The show stopped for about 10 minutes because the pit was so out of hand that the barriers between the pit and the stage was broke down, and they had to put it back up before they began to play again. Best show I've ever seen. Even Slipknot headlining didnt get as much energy as chimaira in the homeland. 216 baby...we tore shit up that day. come back chimaira...lets burn the world down together.

I loved reading this comment. I saw them at a Mayhem Festival and the entire crowd was so excited that Chimaira was playing that I remember like it was yesterday that Mark looked at his other band members(mid song) and I could clearly make out him saying "wow" as in they were amazed at how people were receiving them and the energy of the crowd. Damn do i miss the hell out of that time period.

I have a list of many bands that I consider my favorites. Even being disbanded chimaira is still on that Mount Rushmore list for me. As far as vocalists go I'd have to give it to Mark Hunter as my favorite of all time. Even as the banned got older and changed their sound and the difference in his voice it was always unique. Pass out of existence he had a very unique scream and growl. I really can't make a decision on which album I enjoyed him the most on because in my opinion he was always top notch in each one even with the more melodic and singing vocals like on the age of hell and impossibility of reason it sounds led perfect. Chimairas work will never get old to me.
