I like the sound Chimaira has. It's dark and crunchy yet soft and melodic. If I was to paint of picture of this it would be heaven and hell blended together

Wanted to play this intro for my dads funeral and couldn’t because I was told “black folks don’t play that kinda music”. Still played it anyways with the guitar he bought me as a kid in 99”.

it was his incredible personality and the fact that he was a fan first, not some holier than thou guitar god. he would get down in the pit with his guitar, or even occasionally let fans onstage. He was a cool dude, and a great guitarist. A HUGE influence on music today. So quit talkin shit.
