Hello. Good channel. The mC6 are alwais best tubes. Mullard, Philips, Valvo, Siemens etc.

I have one 12AX7 plugged out of a Fender amplifier decades ago. I do not think Fender makes tubes.

You are right! Fender does not make tubes and neither did back then. I could assume that you still have a American made tube , either General Electric, RCA, Tung-Sol or Sylvania (my speculation) IF the amp is vintage and came with original tubes that could be it, i've also seen example of modern JJ, Electro Harmonix and Chinese being rebranded to Fender in more recent times :) Study the plate construction, perhaps see if there are any other markings on it and you will be able to tell what you exactly have :) Cheers!

Your "Ultron" was not made by Matsushita. It is Japanese, however, and it was made by the Toshiba company. Take a look at the central part of the plate and you'll see that there are only two horizontal bars (or ladder rungs), rather than three bars. Matsushita has three bars, like the other Philips short-plate designs such as Mullard, Philips Miniwatt/Amperex, Valvo, Rogers, etc. Toshiba was unique in having that large flat rectangular shape in the center of the 14mm "short" plates.
