It's because Ukraine has blond hair and blue eyes, super corrupt nation. Sexy traffic and money laundering
What countries are u speaking of? Those are continents, please elaborate with details and facts instead of a broad accusation that just because Ukraine is primarily white people they are cared about more. How about they are cared about because the Country attacking them has a dictator whose seem to lost his mind with his finger on the button of I don’t know how many nuclear weapons???? Maybe once he’s blown everyone to ashes we can start caring about what color peoples skin are again..
@@landonpassarelli5673 I like your passion. However let me highlight this to you? We have bombings going on in Palestine by Israel. We have war in DRC since the 90s. Mali is battling rebels since the 90s. Mozambique Del Gardo province had over 1000 people killed and more displaced last year by mainly European weaponised local rebels after oil was discovered. Nigeria Biafra war continues. No African country manufacture weapons. They all come from the same white/pink countries. Somalia has lost thousands since ages ago and the world is silent. Depends where his money comes from......
@@sidsnot6952 and imagine that, he took money "where don't know where it came from" and put it into a football club, and many charities.
United owners haven't pumped any money into the club like some people think. United make way more money in revenue and gross than Chelsea or Mancity do. Infact the glazers have taken out millions( almost 500 million total ) in form of dividend every quarter to pay off the loan they took out to buy the club in the first place. Before the glazers came United were one of the few clubs making a sizeable profit. But after they bought it out we became riddled with over 1.3 billion debt and they made profits from the dividends they took
How come chelsea with 1.5 billion debt still injected money into club while united sucking owner 498 million debt dont inject money into the club

Wow. Respect. That’s crazy, Chelsea are very fortunate to have an owner like him.
Chelsea without roman just won't be the same. The hungry he had trophies. The passion in his eyes. The man loves the club.
Couldn't be prouder of our departing owner. He is taking the most considerate exit after having won everything there was to win. It's almost poetic amongst all this turmoil.

I don't think many people will do like this, especially those American owners

Roman has been a great owner, one of the few owners in the PL to also truly love and care for their club. He wanted success for Chelsea and he never settled for anything less.
Delighted that Chelsea fans were singing his name at the Luton game last evening. I hope that this becomes the norm at every Chelsea game.
I would also love to see Chelsea name one of the Stands or perhaps the Academy after Roman.

ESPN is always biased just like Dailymail spreads misinformation

This is like Fergie leaving united man. Roman was chelsea sigh sad day. This man helped the UK so much and they do him like that
This decision may affect EPL is the long term.
I am an arsenal fan but I'm a huge fan of you. I wish this reaches you Mr. Roman Abravomich. You are a good person because you bought Chelsea for the love of football. And God has rewarded you with a lavish success in Chelsea F.C. And your a different kind of millionaire. Not like elon musk or Jeff bezoz. Your humanity and humbles is amazing. Please don't sell Chelsea. The premier league will never look the same without you
i feel like it's going to be a slow downfall for chelsea. selling to american people could be a nightmare like milan man u arsenal etc
It will be for sure, chelsea became the club it is today due to the spending power of roman over the past 20 years, not all owners have that kind of business model in fact most of them prefer a self sustaining model for football clubs, obviously it depends on the owners but for the most part the days of Chelsea signing players on exorbitant wages and huge transfer fees (atleast comparatively)won’t last for long
I just hope all this change will not distract the players from fulfilling their duties on the field
I have this silly feeling that he gonna give someone he trusts 2 billion to buy chelsea then continue owning the club but under someone's name. I really wish he does that so that he keeps the club
Samething I say
That would be so good. But We wouldn't know if that's actually happening unless some random billionaire buys it and the club does everything right from footballing perspective.
Brilliant idea, I hope he does that

I am really convinced that ESPN will directly instruct one of the pundits to have a very repulsive opinion even about kids going to school just to generate buzz and talk, they don't care if it's positive or negative, they just want the comments and the views.
Even when Roman shows his passion, his generosity, they still find something negative to say about him. Making sure the club does not have the burden of any debts to anyone is something a man who loves the club would do. Best football club owner ever.
Not accepting any money? The cynic in me sees this as a way to prevent sanctions. He cannot sell Chelsea if his assets are frozen. He is only giving up 4.5 billion in order to save much more presumably.

It's so terrible that sport and politics are so intertwined that this great owner has not other way than selling his club.

Thanks for everything Roman ❤️❤️❤️
Could the next owner win trophy and put enough money
This why pl clubs and all football clubs should be majorly fan owned like in germany(50+1) rule. Club's success should not be dependant on who the owner is. A club should be allowed to spend in accordance to what it generates(through ticket sale, merchandise, tv rights etc). THis is why Barca and Madrid will always remain big.
Please not the Glaziers

Roman was pressured to sell. Not sure he'd have sold it otherwise. Thanks to Putin, being Russian and oligarch will be a very tough proposition for the next few months/years. In Italy, one man burned a russian oligarch's yacht and the judge let him go free....
